This is the image that inspired the name/image of this account. It's from a video game, Shaiya. This is the Goddess of Fury in the game (as far as I can tell.  I haven't actually played it.)

 

When I first saw this picture, I immeditaly went 'That a Goddess/Gaurdian of the Shadows.' She is NOT evil, or even dark per say. She is quiet, and stays in the background of things, listening and learning about those around her. All shadows report to her, so there is very little (if anything) in the universe that goes on that she doesn't know about, or at least can find out with very little effort. She is a healer, using shadows to seal wounds, or recreated damaged or missing areas. While she can use shadows to transasport/teleport things, they can't actually do any harm, it's just terrifying to watch them take someone away. The Gaurdian of Shadows does have a counterpart, the Gaurdian of Light. She is actually the dangerous one of the duo.
