How do you get a special title?

not sure if this is the correct forum for this question or not...

but was just wondering how a person goes about getting a special title under their user name in the forums.... something other than "member"

i think only mods/adm can do that. on april's 1st, rarity changed the titles of some users (since there was no in-game event). because people liked their new titles, she didn't change them back. XD

Its odd how that option is closed off to members. Since in most forums, after you've been a member for so long you get more benefits (having a signature, a profile picture, custom words displayed under name etc)

I know that on my personal forum, you can set up various titles depending on the number of posts that are made. And at other forums, they've had a special post for people to post in to request a certain title.

I've noticed that a lot of members who are not mods, who have "special titles" must be 'close friends' of Rarity since her name is in your title somehow. I'd think if it was something that isn't available for everyone, it shouldn't be available to a few.
