LOTR

I'm having great difficulty finishing DVing this afternoon... LOTR marathon... Legolas... so cute, so cute....

Is his name pronounced, Lego Less/Lass/Luss or Le Go Less.  I'd rather like to think that it is Le Go Luss (my accent) and the next rooster that is born, I shall name him Legolas.  Couldn't be anymore embarrassing hollering "LE GO Luss!!" in the yard as it is to holler "Mister!  Mister get over here!!!"

No! No... nay... Aragorn just pronounced it, "Lego-less" or could it be "Legol- ess" hmmm

(will catch up DVing tonight)

Rheasilvia once posted about a paraody video of the show Supernatural (which I've seen that video about 276 times).... look it up under Hillywood  They've also done a paraody of the Hobbit which I'm sure you'd love!

Re: LOTR

Reading your pronunciations, I can't remember how it was that I pronounced Legolas...

I'm gonna go look at that parody cuz I LOVE Supernatural :3

Re: LOTR

I think I say it Lego-less.. I tried saying Lego-lass, but my accent makes it rhyme with the other word for butt..

Re: LOTR

Aragorn saying it,  made it sound like:

La-Goal-uss

So I suppose I'll have to start practicing that for any upcoming baby roosters, heaven forbid we get anymore of those! (need hens for eggs)

Lego-lass (with the stress on the "go") is exactly how I pronounce it and it does rhyme with that word, but considering the word "golas" means a "naked man" in Polish I find it strangely accurate :D

You have just made it incredibly difficult for me to concentrate on DVing!  I now want to go binge watch LOTR to gaze upon Legolas' most perfect face....

Re: LOTR

I think I pronounce it as Lego-lis, but maybe that's because I say it really fast.

For me the only droolable man in both LOTR and The Hobbit is Eomer because Karl Urban is totally my kind of handsome :)

I remember that a lot of my friends were into him when the movie came out, which was kinda creepy to me because we were 13 back then and he was 40-something, and that means he was actually older than my dad. I mean, he was a great character but definitely not a heartthrob for me.

Now that I think of it I haven't re-watched LOTR in ages. Gotta do that soon and make sure I still like these movies.

Re: LOTR

More visuals. I don't know if anyone will like them but me, though. This is art by Japanese artist Tukiji Nao, I absolutely love her art. She does a lot of fanart for all kinds of media work (video games, movies, manga...) I was lucky enough to get some of her art on ebay.

Re: LOTR

Pictures!
I know of Tukiji Nao and I love her very detailed style and the colouring she does although her anatomy can be sometime on the how's-that-even-possible side. Still very pretty :)
