[Stores] New to the Sins and Virtues Cupboard

Hello dollz!

It’s time to finalize the content of the Sins and Virtues Cupboard!

The 2 last outfits representing the 2 missing cardinal virtues are now completing the Sins and Virtues Cupboard!

Discover the outfits representing Chastity and Charity.

Chastity

Charity
http://blog.feerik.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/apercu_prodigalite.png

How do cupboards work?

By opening a cupboard, you will get 5 elements among all its available content. If you open several times the same cupboard, you won’t have two of the same item (except if you’ve already got all of them previously).

Special offer!

You want just these 2 new outfits, but not the other elements in the cupboard?

Exceptionally for this release, opening the cupboard with Fee’z won’t grant you all its content but only the 2 new outfits!

You can obtain all the items composing these 2 outfits in one go by clicking the purchase button placed under the button “Check content”! This special offer is available in Fee’z.

This special offer is available in Fee’z until Sunday 9th October at midnight (CET). Then, the Fee’z pack will be back, containing all the outfits of the Cupboard.

Of course, you can also open the cupboard with normal $$$, one opening at a time if you prefer.

Important: if you open the cupboard with Fee’z, the items you already have in your inventory won’t be taken into account! This option will make you acquire all the elements of these outfits.

To open the cupboard, go to the “STORES” page and choose http://www.ohmydollz.com/design/magasin/fr/armoire-1.png

What is your favorite virtue?

I really like the Chastity outfit; and if I ever get it I'll make sure to put it on darker skin, because the combination is really pretty.

I don't understand Lavishness. Is that supposed to be a virtue? Because it sounds more like Greed. What does it mean, exactly?

Yeah we're still trying to understand that ourselves. The text we got translates like that so not sure. Personally I think it's Greed.

Love the chastity outfit,  I  think lavishness is supposed to be a sin :/ I don't see how it can be a virtue

Re: [Stores] New to the Sins and Virtues Cupboard

Here's some stuff I found with the 7 virtues!  Just passing along.

The Seven Contrary Virtues which are specific opposites to the Seven Deadly Sins: Humility against pride, Kindness against envy, Abstinence against gluttony, Chastity against lust, Patience against anger, Liberality against greed, and Diligence against sloth.

Sooo, perhaps Liberality OR CHARITY is also Lavishness-being generous - that would make sense. There is also a reference to Benevolence at the end of this post.  But I also thought that was charity.

There are also a number of other sets of virtues, including:

When Pope Gregory defined the seven deadly sins that we should avoid, he also included a counter-balancing set of values that we should espouse and adopt. These are:
1.Faith is belief in the right things (including the virtues!).
2.Hope is taking a positive future view, that good will prevail.
3.Charity is concern for, and active helping of, others.
4.Fortitude is never giving up.
5.Justice is being fair and equitable with others.
6.Prudence is care of and moderation with money.
7.Temperance is moderation of needed things and abstinence from things which are not needed.

The first three of these are known as the Spiritual Virtues, whilst the last four are called the Chief or Natural Virtues. The Natural Virtues had already been defined by Greek philosophers, whilst the Spiritual Virtues are a slight variation on St. Paul's trio of Love, Hope and Faith (due to variation in translation from the original: Charity and Love arguably have a high level of overlap).

•The Theological Virtues: Love, Hope and Faith, as defined by St. Paul (who placed love as the greatest of them all).
•The four Cardinal Virtues: Prudence, Temperance,  Courage and Justice.
•The Seven Heavenly Virtues: Faith, Hope, Charity, Fortitude, Justice, Temperance, Prudence.
•The Seven Corporal Works of Mercy are a medieval list of things you can do to help others: feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, give shelter to strangers, clothe the naked, visit the sick, minister to prisoners, and bury the dead.
•The Seven Bushido Virtues: Right decisions, Valor, Benevolence, Respect, Honesty, Honor, and Loyalty.

Re: [Stores] New to the Sins and Virtues Cupboard

Okay, thanks to Silverstarshine's information and looking up the actual French word that was used: Prodigalité, I think it refers to 'Charity', giving to others in a 'lavish-like manner' with no thought to your own needs. Others might think you are wasting money, but you believe it's all in good faith to help those in need. The horn of plenty she is holding can signify charity, so that's what I'll go with.

Did anyone notice the shoes that seem to not fit correctly?
