You don't realize how much I care for you.
You don't realize I know what you're going through.
You don't realize everything I've told you is true.
You don't realize that it's never too late to start anew.

You don't realize that there is nothing wrong with being sad.
You don't realize that when this is over, everyone will be so glad.
You don't realize I'm telling the truth when I talk about the times we've had.
You don't realize that you don't have to be sad, not even just a tad.

You don't realize the your future is so bright!
You don't realize that it's just out of sight.
You don't realize that you need to keep going, with all your might!
You don't realize that soon, you'll fly higher than a kite.

You can trust me when I say,
You'll feel better in every way,

I know I'm not the strongest,
I know I can be bad.
I know I yell at you,
And I can be very sad.

I know I'm not the most mature,
I know I'm not too smart.
I know I make you angry,
And we have broken hearts.

But I don't see why that'll stop the world,
Or make the sun go dark.
I don't see why life is hard,
And not a walk in the park.

I have my family,
And a place to sleep at night.
And I can all ways smile,
If I try with all my might.

Family doesn't go away,
And neither does a second chance.
It can be hard,
