Rocking Horse?

Okay, so I've been seeing this adorable rocking horse pop up in my accounts:

Does anybody have any clue why we're receiving it? I tried parsing through the French forum but didn't find any topics related to it, that I could see. I really like it, so for whatever reason we're getting it, thanks, Feerik!

I tried looking through google of anything retaining to a wooden rocking horse...but nada. I couldn't find a thing.

Perhaps it's because of Chinese New Year :) After all, it is the year of the Horse!

Ahhhhhah! Emilie, thank-you. I just saw the News post about it but still couldn't understand why it would be a rocking horse. Now it all makes sense - thanks for clearing that up :)

My first reaction to the horse was "OH MY GOD THAT IS ADORABLE WHERE DID IT COME FROM?!" I checked the news and sure enough, it was a free gift. However, I think they should've put it as the first thing on the news page because it was off to the side and I almost did't see it.

Well, it's on the News feed now, as well as in a forum post, but it wasn't until the morning after it came out, which is why those of us who saw it that evening were confused.

Maybe they should give out the item(s) only after the news is posted, so as not to confuse players.

or maybe they should be more efficient in posting the news.
or post them in french everywhere and it gets translated later.
