You're parents sound very chill. I'd be very surprised to see that it's happening from your family.
Of course I could also be wrong. Take me for example. I came out completely different than what my parents tried to raise me to be. I know that now and I found that I now clash more with my parents than I had before. If I or anyone else looked into my lifestyle, they (and I too) would think me to be wrong in a lot of things.
There may also be some thing with his personality that kind of deterred him somewhere over the years.

D: Oh no, well it's up to you to get him to think otherwise since you //are// his girlfriend. Also, on your brother, yeah I'm just gonna repeat the stuff everyone else said. Consider both side the 1.] He'll get mad that you think there's something wrong with him if you tell him. 2.] He'll get mad that you didn't tell him/tricked him. Idk your brother, obviously, but you have to think about how he is, is he honest/frank with people or is he emotionally inclined or w/e. Idk, like me I think of myself as a mostly rational person so I'd rather my parents tell me they think I should see a therapist rather than introducing me to a doctor and suddenly this random stranger is asking me questions or smth.
tl;dr be careful of what you choose to tell/not tell him. What a person thinks is best is different from what another thinks is best.

(also, ahhh, ASCENSION 3???? :D)

Yeah, I'd rather read Divergent before I watch it, but I really don't know hardly anything about it. Yeah, I've been really bad about reading, lately.
Well, manga is one of the greatest pass-times. Speaking of which, I have a ridiculously long mental list of manga I should read.

I feel so guilty about watching the movie before reading the book but at the same time procrastinating on my reading.
I know right? But I finish volumes in like half an hour, so I'm glad I can fit them in. I have A ridiculously long list myself...
Lately I've been doing all sorts of drawing, and violin practice, and then dance too...AAAH and math!

Right? I either read a book for four hours straight, or not at all for four months. I'm not to good at devoting myself to things.
My grandparents have come over for two weeks (-__-), so I don't really have time to read manga, watch anime, or read anything, for that matter.
