Little disappointing since this Friday, July 4th is a big AMERICAN holiday. And if you think of it in terms of Patriotism, Pearl Harbor and USA... kinda a slap in the face.

The last 3 questions are totally blank with blank answers. I tried this on maurydane, guessing and the placements I've listed were the correct answers even though I don't know what they said. I had gotten two out of three right so I only got 2 gifts. (I'm guessing you'll get the extension if you already have the room)

Is anyone else having with problems with the story not showing up. Maybe the only one, but I like to read the story in the quest. Quetions and answers are listed but no story. I have cleared my cache and renewed the page. ( a few times).

One more thing, what is the big blue thing given in the second gift?

Technically it's not July 4 yet, and maybe if it was on the day Pearl Harbor happened then it would be a slap in the face. July 4th is about the day our fore farther's declared our independence from England. In a way it would be MORE of a slap in the face if it was a quest about England.
I'm LOVING this quest. I've waited for a quest like this for months and I have enough $$ to do it!

Hey Jenzg11, I think that blue thing you're talking about is a bean bag chair; that's my opinion.

I still have hope that they'll give out a special USA Independence Day gift on the 4th of July. Today was Canada Day, so I was actually expecting a small gift for that.

I don't think there have been a quest based on one nation's holiday, only gifts on those days. Also, I don't really see why a French site would care about American patriotism, I was surprised about one quest awhile back that was a road trip through America. I like the quest, just one think has been bugging me...we get an expansion for already having rooms, but nothing for already having a job from a quest.

Plus I personally don't see how it could possibly be a slap in the face (the week on July 4th, or pearl harbor) was bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki enough of pay back??

Thanks for the answers! I didn't go too far in this quest, only to the second stage, but it's always nice to get the bonus gifts. Especially that first doll. So kawaii
Also, while I agree it would have been nice to have some kind of quest or event for Independence Day, Ohmydolls is a French site, so as I believe it's been said, they aren't super likely to be like "Woohoo America!" And as it's also been said Pearl Harbor was bombed in December, not July, so I don't really think it's a slap in the face.
Besides, a few of the blue items from the 2nd stage go well with my Independence Day outfit. They were just what I needed.
