What we did when we missed my sister, Maha's birthday in June is that we had her's and my brother's together at the end of August. Musa's is August 31st.
We made two cakes instead of the usual one and they both got pied in the face with shaving cream.

Yay!! Congrats for both! That first one has a really great perk though 0.0 That's a lot of items to sell even as a promoter, but with how many people you know, I think you get a lot of things ^^ If you're still doing this after I graduate, I'll definitely try to buy something from both stores. I'll also help promote you're code. I know a few people who like buying stuff online.

I need help. Anyone can help but advice is more like it. I think I should put it in the cafe though so more people see it...I'm also asking my counselors for help on this but I want some more voices about this than adults and me.

It's about college and well...I kinda don't want to stay with my family. I love them to death and after but I'm getting tired. So many limits have been put on me and I know they're just trying to protect me but I'm suffocation right now. They're trying to move to Aussie and I'd love to go with them, but at the same time, that's going to be my final move. If I don't go with them, I won't have a home here. I can still live in dorms though so I mean, still, but I was also thinking of Community College and then transferring.
So many decisions to make and I just need help with it all. I can't ask my parents because for one, I don't know how to even tell them, and for the other, I know what they're going to say.

I don't have a phone which is getting pretty bad right now since CommonApps is just like we need your cell phone, I don't have a license so my schedule only works around my parents which isn't working at all since my dad is like 3 hours away down state half of the week and my mom has Scouting things she does everyday. I've never seen her without her phone reading emails or getting calls from parents. I don't want to ask for anything ever because of it.

I want to do all these things in school too, clubs and sports, but I can't because things usually go all the way to 6pm. I do Marching Band now and that's such a risk since games end at 10pmish. I've been left at school at least 3 times this year till midnight on my own and we only live 5 minutes away from here, 10 with all the traffic lights.
I'm done with practice by 5, but I don't get home till 6, sometimes 6:30 because I'm waiting for them.

Anyway back to college, I have family to stay with but same thing. I'm limited by my inability to drive. I want to go to school in Richmond. Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) especially. But my parents want me to attend an Australian college. They have pretty good stuff and if I become a citizen there, I can go to college for free. Which I think is amazing, but I don't want to go there.
I'm thinking of not at all applying there cuz I have to do it by myself at my own time anyway. The counselors here just focus on the US and anything beyond is just not in their system.

What I'm asking for isn't if what I want to do is right or not, but I'm asking if it's even possible and should I try.

Hmm...That's actually not a bad idea but florida though...I'm trying to stay north, mid area of US. Anywhere south is just scary for me by religion and race. Even Virginia's pretty bad. Only N. Virginia is extremely liberal and even then, only South Arlington is accepting of everyone regardless of whatever label.

151 Angel, as your big sis kinda girl, I really think staying in the US would be a bad idea. I've been in the college life for a few years now and many of my friends stay in dorms, let me tell you think, they're the happiest when school is over. More often than not, dorms are a very bad experience.

Roomies are more often than not awful because of all the differences in culture, in schedule, in habits and all of that. The rooms are usually small. Bathrooms are shared (almost everywhere they are) and believe me, you do not want the dorms as much as you can.

Most people end up renting an apartment on their own. The problems with that is that you now have to pay rent. If you don't have work experience, getting a first part-time job is not an easy thing. Especially when you don't drive. Aaaand more often  than not, you'll still want roomies...Again...it's hard to find those especially when you're a freshmen as you don't know how anyone is yet.

If your family moves, you'll get stuck in the dorms all year without backup if things go wrong. So i high recommend against that.

Now, community college is out of the question if you don't have your family. Most don't have dorms at all. And those that do, they have THE WORST DORMS EVER!!!! Since well, they get less funds and so on.

Now, about your parents, the best way to go about this. And that's the way I've personally done is you sit down with them and calmly talk to them about the situation now that you're on the verge of college. I can tell you more about that if you want.

@Twin - Self Defense doesn't work when your opponent has a gun. I'd love to come near you. I was looking at UC for a while trying to find out how to get in. But Florida is out of the question in my opinion.
There's SCAD in Georgia which is supposed to be the best art school. But it's in Georgia. That's not happening in a million years.

@Darky - Have to say, you're right. I don't want to live in a dorm as it is. But I really don't want to stay with my family. I guess don't have a choice. I don't want to get a job while in college and then move out cuz I know my parents won't buy that. But I was thinking that if the college I choose to go to is just far away from them, it would just happen and for the most part be okay.

Maybe I'm just being stubborn >.< I don't want to live away from them, but I just, every time I try to talk to them, it comes out wrong. Every. Single. Time. And then they think I'm attacking them and I don't respect them for what they do and they get all these things to start putting me down.

I've tried so many times to have this conversation with them, but whenever I get the courage to do so, something has to go wrong. I can't talk and if I write it, I've done it before, they find it even more disrespectful and take a whole different level than what I wanted.
So far it looks like I'll always be wrong.
