I looked too (without knowing French) and the babel French translater was something about the inside of a store - but waiting for details and theme do's and don'ts.

That's what I was getting from the French News post after slowly parsing through it with a translator. It's so hard doing the Loft, don't you find? Such a small space to convey the theme! Having fun with it, though!

I'm just having a difficult time fitting everything that needs to be in there into the small screen space! It's going to be one crowded store!

As the store is meant to be shown as "not open" for the day yet or "closed" after the sale is done, there would be no customers in the store at that time.

I'd say to be safe, don't put any characters of any kind in, avivah, unless maybe it's an obvious mannequin for modeling clothing or something?

I checked out this week's Loft show this morning. I clicked through for about 10 minutes, and I think I've seen all the entries up for voting this week. There are around 8 entries. Out of those, at least 2 have nothing to do with the theme (one is an empty loft with the free clothing items you receive when you sign up and a few gifts/items from the recent quest) and there are maybe 5 lofts that are clearly stores, but nowhere do they display any kind of "presence of a discount price" like in the guidelines.

Maybe there are more entries out there that just haven't shown up yet, but so far, the only one I see with any kind of 'sale' sign or 'discount price' shown is my own entry. I'm so disappointed - I was really excited to see what people would put in the show this week.

I really really like a couple of the store entries (particularly the car show room - how creative!), but it's too bad there are no sale signs in any of them, since our theme is "Final Mark-down".

Ha - I see it now. I'll be giving it more votes next time it comes around :)

So...There are now only 6 lofts left. Two of them probs got disqualified cuz I've only been getting 6 different lofts ^^
