Hey Dollz!
This week, our Doll will participate on a TV Show for the Best Pastry Chef of OhMyDollz City!
You will be able to open your own little Cake Shop or you can work together with a famous pastry chef. Either way, there will be a new room to win such as the two themes and its extension!
Master the challenges of the Show in every step of the quest and develop your creativity! Your doll will also prepare desserts from all over the world: Europe, America and even the Orient!
You can win wonderful decoration elements and delicious treats, animated objects, new characters and of course the room "Cake Shop" with its two themes and the extension if you finish both ends!
The more you progress in the story, the more prerequisites you need, but the gifts get better and better!
At each stage of the quest, you have to answer a mini enigma to get exclusive elements associated to the quest!
Check the different color variants for the prerequisite items at the Cake Shop:
That store will stay open until february 2nd at 11:59 PM, (CET), take advantage of it to get the items you want!
On january 31st 2014, all the players who finished the quest (both ends) from all the versions will take part in a tombola. The tree winners will get an assortment of Pierre Hermé macroons, one of the best french pastry chefs!
May differ from photograph.
Finish the quest until january 29th at noon (CET) to win all the gifts!
Have fun on OhMyDollz!
Raffle.... that ought to be interesting to the one who wins.

This by far is my FAVORITE quest! I love it! And them macaroons look yummy! I personally have never tasted a macaroon.
I think this is one of the best quests that we've ever had!!
Yayyyyy this quest is awesome! I can think of quite a few dollz out there who will be super excited for this! I really enjoy that the quest stays pretty much on-theme the whole time, instead of say only 1 step with baking items, another with random forest items, etc, like we so often see. Looks great.
And ha, those macaroons. I hope I don't win them - when I hear how a certain other prize from Feerik arrived overseas after a raffle, I'd hate to see how macaroons would fair the cross-ocean journey! haha.
I wonder... in which state are those macaroons going to arrive to Argentina after 16 hs of flight and 3 airport scales (Madrid, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires).... Do you know how much is the quest???
I also think it's one of the best quests so far. I like almost all of the gifts and, as snortmort already said, it's good the quest stays on one theme. I prefer it that way. My main doll doesn't have enough money to finish it but I'm sure some of my alts would be really happy to get a Cake Shop room.
The macaroons are a really sweet addition to the quest but I really can't imagine how are they planning on shipping them worldwide so they come in one piece. I think it would be best (for the macaroons at least) if a French player won them :)

One ending is $200 and both endings are $250 and 150feez.
Here's the whole guide - http://us.ohmydollz.com/board/viewtopic … 98#p266698
That means I've got to move my cakeshop. XD
I just love, love, love this quest! But am I supposed to have the Luxury Pastry Shop background in the room? Because I did the Little Cake Shop ending, NOT the Luxury Pastry Shop ending. Shouldn't I have the pretty pink-striped background? I like that one much better.
EDIT: Oh, I just saw the little icon to change the background. Now I don't even have the option to change it back to the Luxury Shop background, which I assume is how it's supposed to be since I didn't do that ending...

And what would you do with all the money that you had won in the casino if not spent them in a cake shop? It's perfectly logical ;-)
Yes I'm excited about the new quest. So many of us requested one like this in the "suggestion' topic. I'm sure there will be a lot of us doing this one.. And a few that will be re-arranging their "current" shops or bakeries.. I know Zoet-jenz will be! Thank you Feerik.

On another note...I love the chocolate themed outfit! It's so beautifully yummy looking and would look amazing with that chocolate dress we got one easter ago.

Me too! Lol The quest looks like a good one though.
I love it the only thing im having trouble with is trying to find rooms for everything! i choose the Yum Yum Donuts!
Anybody got the answers?
@whitehorse45: HERE is the guide.
it may take a (long) while to load
(edit: i decided the loading time was too long and torturing so i'll (copy and)paste the answers here. as soon as the loading is over...)
@anyone who never tasted a macaroon(not sure how i missed that comment o_O):
they taste GREAT! so unless you're allergic to nuts(i think macaroon is made of almod flour, need confirmation) then i'd recomend you to try some! they're crunchy and soft at the same time! XD(not sure if it's the right description, but...lol)
if they're well-made, they're a real wonder! if they're not well-made, well... they're still good if you like them, but then are not as great(just bought a few macaroons that only tasted like almod, but they did not taste like anything else at all. and good-quality ones have a nice flavor of whatever else they're made of).
i hope my description did not look confusing
EDIT:

I'm loving this new quest!!!! I think it's the best quest I've ever played!!! I need to buy some feez, so I can get the extended version of the room...
when I try to do dollztchat it keep saying error2023:aomd_blase:
@Makaila123 You should not be posting this here, you should post this in the "Bugs" section of the Board. :)
This quest is making me hungry.
Well, since I am logged in to the Board (a rare occurrence :P)...
The first thing I thought, when I saw the prizes, was this is one quest where I would have L-O-V-E-D to have seen the "prize multiplier"! There are so many pieces that it would be useful to have more than one of... especially the "chocolate" table & chairs from the Little Cake Shop (donut) ending and the pink fleur wallpaper in the Luxe Bakery. Oh where, oh where are those pink striped DollzStory wall panels when you need them???
It's a lovely quest... and it seems to have a lot of dollz fans

I'm so enjoying looking at the cakes in this quest... I'm a little too obsessed with the wedding planning I guess
