Well, according to the reply to my ticket by "Sarah:"
In contrary, the room is back to its original layout and the expansion is now larger than before.
That being said, it still seems like the room is either smaller a bit, whether on one end or the other.

so the room wont be returning to its previous state and we have to completely rearrange everything back? bleugh. how annoyingly inconvenient, right after i had gotten mine just the way i liked it too.
oh well. i just wanted to know that much, thanks.
