I cringed at the girl--Miss Rin's--touch. The hug, I would have accepted begrudgingly, but the face rubbing? This person was interesting to say the least, also a bit freaky. I can't for the life of me imagine how I managed to forget such a person.
Beyond that was what she was actually saying. She was my partner? I was right, I wasn't sure if I liked this.
I put aside the 'Cutie' and 'Kirry' business and got right to what mattered, "You're going to carry your own weight, right? At least assure me of that before you brief me...?" I asked, already searching for what exactly her weapon might be.
Looking at her again, it didn't seem likely she'd be much more then a handicap.

Leah:
"OK! Lead the way!" I smiled.

Kyrre:
I blinked and smiled, though--truth be told, it probably looked more like a grimace. I don't do that "Smiling" business often, but I should let her believe I at least half liked her.
I shook my head slowly, trying to inject what I'd observed as a 'joking' tone into my voice, "I'm looking for something?" People see what they want to see, I might as well play this 'cutie' thing for all it was worth.

Lae:
"We go to the office to get our missions now." I gestured towards the door. "After you."

Rin :
"Hello dear, how can I help you?"

Rin:
"Let's see ,let's see…" I say as I look through the mission files . "Oh there it is … Let's see … Hmmmm it's a hospital I see  … It seems the ghost of some dead patient won't leave or something like this and it's bothering the other patients… Go and check and then exorcise it … we don't know what powers it has so be careful sweeties"

Rin :
"Here take the files. Everything is written there." I say as I hand over the mission file.

Rin :
"Yes please!"

Baelabrar:
"It says here we have to go...down the street?"

I watched this fold out in silent observation. Since she was handing out the missions, it was likely me and Miss Rin won't be going anywhere for a long while. But everyone coming in would probably be just as confused as these two were. I felt the corner of my mouth twitch. This was going to be entertaining

Baelabrar:
I nodded my head and went out the door. There was a long silence between the two of us. "What do you think this ghost is like?"
