"No, you're seeing things I think you have to go to the ophthalmologist, that dress is gold and white!"

Anyway, in OhMyDollz we leave the choice, this story dress does hallucinate the whole team since Friday!

Huh, only heard about this today! (My home is a lovely rock to live under! ^_-  )

So tracking this down, the pictures I've found look Blue and Black.

What I'd like to do, if it wouldn't be lying, would be to say "Wait! You've got the Gold and White backwards!"

Seriously - is it white and gold, or is it gold and white?  Because people are writing it both ways  (I'm guessing they are seeing it the same however...)

hypn Okay just went back to the page I first saw that on to double check color order, and this time I see them as 'White with Gold'.

But to be absolutely correct I'd say 'pale periwinkle blue with brass' - but it keeps changing while I look at it getting darker if it starts out light, while a blue start doesn't change . . .

LMAO I laughed out loud so much when I came online and saw this. A friend of mine posted the picture and when I first saw it all I could see was white & gold and I thought it was a trick that she made some comment about it being blue & black. I couldn't see it at ALL though I tried so hard. The next morning when I looked at her post again, I only saw blue & black and haven't seen the white & gold since. How is it possible? So. Weird. And ridiculous how much it's exploded all over the Internet :P

Glad I'm not the only one that is sooo done with this whole "joke". It's everywhere! It was even in my local newspaper! I wish people were this excited over other more important stuff.

On another note, these dresses are quite nice, a lot nicer than the original. But there's no way I'll ever buy any of them.

Lol when I first saw this I was eating with my friends out. And one of them just received the picture and didn't know about the joke and I was the only one that saw it white and gold and they all thought I was making fun of them XD

A scientist on the News (yes, it was on the News) said the way you see the colors of the dress depends on how the light enters your eyes and how your brain interprets what they see. When I saw the thumbnail the dress looked white and gold, when I clicked on the bigger picture it looked a pale blue with a charcoal black. Then as I kept looking at it, the colors changed and I could see the pale blue turning white, as if the blue was shading, and the grayish black turning a dark copper color. Then back again.

Both colors are pretty in their own way.

OH MY GOSH! HAHAHA I just realized that these two dresses were created from the trending dress at every social medias.

I can't believe I didn't notice it, no wonder it was on the OMD news haha I was thinking, 'Oh, two new dress, big deal' (no offense xD)

lmao though, they really are more attractive than the original dress, though i doubt i could buy it without laughing at it every time i looked at it.

yeah, the actual dress was black/blue but because of lighting in the photo and how our eyes work some people could see white/gold or even both (it kept changing colors on me every time i looked at it).

i dont know why some people insist on getting grouchy about it though (or any internet meme - its not as bad as you make it). it wasnt like a forced joke. it was a natural phenomenon that reminded people just how odd our world and bodies work so of course people got excited about it. it was a good laugh.
