edit: this outfit lacks detail. It is very flat. Like the top. The only items I like is the hat and hair. Not spending $50 for that.
edit 2: as I play with the items, I've noticed many 'glitches'. The hair doesn't fit on the dolls head and the body suit doesn't fit on the body (dolls underwear shows).

I love how the outfit looks overall...in the picture. On my doll? Umm no.
The only thing I like is the body suit and the shoes. I thought the white was makeup, but it's a clear mask. Since it is a Flash Sale, I'll just buy those two pieces from the store. Plus, there's no doll to come with it

As one of my hair clients who was 95 at the time would say in two words: UGG LEE
If it were something that was more practical, 50DB would be a fair price without the doll considering that sometimes a doll in the flash store can be pretty pricey. But it's not a practical look unless you are spending your time on the runway.

I agree. I like the whole look on the promo picture but the actual outfit on my own doll looks really creepy, especially the mask thing. I also would prefer the hoop skirt and the train to be separate.

Wellll, I'm pretty sure that "CapiDoll Couture" is referring to "Capitol Couture" - as in the CRRRRAAAZY outfits worn by residents of the Capitol in The Hunger Games. Fitting, as the final installment of the movie is coming out/just is out now in theatres. I found it perfect for my Katniss Everdeen doll. But yes, for my regular dollz, of course it wouldn't make any sense, as with many of the outfits that are released - they don't all work for all of my dollz, as they each have their own styles.

This is what I was thinking but I was like naaahh! Then, maybe it is so! CapiDoll is just so similar to Capitol that I actually originally read it as such. And I'm sure my "Down with the Capitol" poster had a hand in my train of thought. Soo maybe??
