Ha, so I have no idea really what I'm doing, but many moons ago I used to play around with dress design, long before my OMD/MDD days. I'm playing around with something right now. Of course, I don't have photoshop so I'm trying to adjust my hand drawn image in Paint, which is...um, fun, yeah...right lol. I figure if I post a little teaser, it might inspire me to actually finish :)
The right is the image that I hand-drew, the left is after emphasizing lines in Paint. Hmm.
Hmm...very interesting Snortmort. I'd like to see the finish product
I like it! I want to see the finished result!
Completed drawing. I didn't colour it because it probably would have looked really awful in paint -- any of you talented ladies wanna take a crack at colouring it? I've seen some really nice work on the boards by some of you! The legs shouldn't be showing through - once again, Paint is rather limiting...
It's an OMD version of this dress from Jacob:

Awwww, thanks, everyone :)
And Hayley, I feel that a compliment coming from you is top-notch, since you're my favourite OMD designer :) So, thank-you!

******
I have a huge catalogue of dresses that I've wanted to draw for forever. Here's the first one I've worked on since that first one. It's nowhere what I want it to be, nor is it anywhere near finished. Can anybody guess where it's from?
Beautiful snortmort!
I love dresses with such fine, intricate lace detailing!
This is beautiful!! It looks very familiar but can't put my finger on it
lol I forgot about this - I don't even know what happened to my drawing - I think my kids got into it, unfortunately
The dress is originally worn by Lady Mary Crawley on Downton Abbey:
