A well deserved break after a hectic year of running parades, department stores, carnivals, and falling into a rabbit burrow ... It does not look like that but it's exhausting believe me!
Enough with the adventures, I just want to enjoy my cocktail and perfect my tan.

Step 2: Fun on the cruiseship

Tonight, we will stop in Santorini. I can not wait to discover this island whose pictures make me dream!
Leaning over the rail, I try to see the land first. Here it is! But? what is happening? Before my eyes, the island blurres and disappears!
I unceremoniously grab a poor waiter who was passing by.
- Did you see that?
- What?
- The island, there, it's gone!
The server looks at me with a funny look and suggests me to go rest and avoid the sun. I'm very well, thank you very much! I ask the other passengers, nobody saw anything ...
We finally arrive in Santorini. Curiosity consumes me. I am absolutely sure, that I did not dream, I saw this island and since it disappeared, I feel an urge to see it again.
I think my holidays are damned, I can´t resist a good mystery!

Step 3: Hidden island

I rent a speedboat and drive to where I thought the island should be. I'm sure it's here somewhere but I can´t get to where I want to go, strong currents are always pushing me in the opposite direction.
I was looking for a way around when I heared a scream. Someone is sinking! Quick! I dive and bring a girl back to the surface with me. She faints and it is not easy to climb into my boat!
Around her neck, there is a crystal pendant that shines slightly and suddenly starts rising in the air. Looks like it showes me something! By trusting this funny pendant, I find a hidden passage between the opposing currents and an invisible barrier shows up that tingles my skin. And now there is the mysterious island that appears before me again!

Step 4: At Korra's

As soon as I saw the island, I knew that the following actions are set into stone, without me understanding what exactly is happening. People in a canoes like piroge are aproching closer. The girl I had saved suddenly wakes up and prevents me from turning around.
They escort us to the beach and the girl, Korra, takes me to her home.
It is only after I lock myselfe into the quiet of the bathroom (which has a very original style I must say) that I start to question things. Where am I and who are these people? I understand everything they say though I'm sure they do not speak any english!

Step 5: Guided tour

When Korra shows me the island she also answers my questions. It´s quite simple, she tells me that I discovered Atlantis. ATLANTIS !! ?? The Atlantis, that everyone believes missing at the bottom of the ocean?! In fact they have survived the tidal wave that almost engulfed them through their advanced technology and they decided to remain hidden. They think that humans are not mature enough to benefit from their knowledge. I can not contradict them! I am also quite surprised that they tell me everything ... What, if I decide to leave this island one day?
I have to say, that I am not surprised by these revelations. I must have have a bad sunstroke ... It´s like a déjà vu, these houses, these monuments, everything somehow rings a bell...
The Atlanteans are incredibly friendly, they greet me and thank me for saving young Korra, the news have traveled fast on the island apparently!

Step 6: Moon celebration

The Atlanteans (who are definitely really charming and hospitable people) invite me to participate in one of their festival: the Moon Festival
. I accept with joy and I spend a great time to prepare everything for the eveningy. We put large coffee tables on a colored carpet, I prepare the cushions while Korra hangs up multicolored curtains all around the room. Multicolored lanterns projected light flashes in all directions, it's magic!
The evening begins!
One delicious dish follows another to the rhythm of strange music which stirs some memories buried deep inside me ... Then the music speeds up and everyone gets up to dance!

Step 7: The crystal cavern

The party is over, everyone is asleep. Everyone, except me.
I get up to refresh myself and my steps lead me to what seems to be the entrance to a cave. I see a glow inside and I have the feeling of beeing called by it. Like in a dream, I walk amid stalactites dotted with iridescent crystals. The glow intensifies until I come to a huge cavern where I can see levitating crystals.
This is such a breathtaking beauty!
I see some kind of altar and a part of me wonders, if I am even allowed to be in something that looks to be a sacred temple. But my eyes are magnetized by the nearest crystal. It calls to me ... I feel like a moth attracted to the light.
As I touch it, a light surrounds me and a woman appears before me! Well, not really a woman, it looks more like a spirit I tell myself before falling into darkness.

Step 8: Lost princess

When I finaly wake up again, I'm completely confused. I'm in a huge bed (aterribly cozy one) and dressed in a frilly nightgown, I don´t know where I am. My memories of the day are fuzzy, what happened?
Someone knocks on the door, it is Korra! Maybe she will (again) anwer my questions. I try to extricate myself from my bed - which is not an easy task, because of the to soft mattress which seems to want to keep me prisoner - but when Korra tels me to better stay seatted, I do so. Ok? This is not very reassuring ...
She explains that when I fainted, all the Atlanteans were awakened by the spirit of the High Priestess of the Moon. She has announced that their princess had returned.
Their what ?? I remain speechless while Korra tells me, that I am no less than the last descendant of the royal line of Atlantis, which disappeared centuries ago!
That's why I understand their language and I have those strange déjà vus! Some of the magic of the island remained in me.
What a story! Nobody will believe me when I get back home! Well ... If I return one day, that is! I feel at home here and I can´t abandon my people again, right?
