I'm wondering why we will receive 261 DB as opposed to the 262 that it cost.

Some of the items were nice, but for my taste... too many fairy items.  Don't get me wrong, I love fairy, elf and other magical items... there's just an over abundant amount.  I wish that it had not come with a room.  I'm a sucker for wanting all the rooms.


HOWEVER.....

My doll zada-dane is thrilled to no end with this quest =)

I might be misreading something but I think we should be getting $1 for 262 days not 261.

All in all, I like this quest! I also like that players from the different servers worked on this. That's such a cool idea!

I have the feeling it might be caused by this bonus' "counting system" already including today's payment if you sent your doll to work before finishing the quest. I still have some dolls that didn't work today so I will do the quest on one of them to see if it changes anything. Will let you know what I find :)

EDIT: Yeah, it seems to work the way I said. I finished the quest first and then worked and I got the regular job money and the bonus +1. Lazy dolls gain more.

I'm not 100% sure, but it seems that whenever you decide to finish the quest you'll get 261 days of bonus +1 $$$ anyway (or 262 days if you manage to remember not to work the day you complete the quest). If I remember correctly that's how it was the last time we had a quest with such gift.


I've just realized I didn't share my opinion about the quest! Not that anybody cares... Thruth being told I wasn't very impressed with it at first. It was nice for some of my fantasy alts but I had no intention on completing it on my main. But after creating the guide (and finding out that my name is mentioned in the story, lol),  having a look at the gifts and finding out that so many players have worked at it, I felt kinda warm and fuzzy inside and decided to finish it. Although I'll have to wait till the last day to get enough money actually. I'll be broke again... pretty much a status quo in my case.

The fairy "groups" which are gifts in the last level (I think? I haven't had time to complete it yet) are images of actual dollz owned by the players who provided graphic contributions to the birthday quest (also from the French Forum):



I found the quest to be beautiful ^.^ We have so many talented players here... it was certainly a fun, new twist to see what the OMD community can do when they come together!

I had a feeling I had already seen some of the "fairies" from the last step. This was a really sweet idea :)
But I must say I agree with lady0filia about the small fairies, wish they were at least a little bit bigger to showcase their cuteness in full glory.

I finally had time to come to the forum and read the story line of the quest. Congratulations to all players and designers mentioned in the quest story.

I didn't even know that was a cup until you pointed it out, I thought it was something for the hair. Aww, it's so cute now that I see it for what it is. Now I need a few more and a matching teapot to make a complete set!
