getting scroll box actually centered

UPDATE:

I think I have it figured out.  The below coding will give a border in the color of your choice.  Where the number is for the "width" I'll replace that with 450:

<div style="height:100px;width:140px;overflow:auto;border:8px solid yellowgreen;padding:2%">This scroll box has had a border added to it. You can add borders to anything in HTML - including scroll boxes.</div>

will probably have to make the width a bit wider to make it look more "centered"  I have this on my WIA... might want to make it a bit taller too... I guess the best thing to do is just to play around with it

This is copied from the FAQ post

For a transparent scroll box use this code
<center><div style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; OVERFLOW: auto; WIDTH: 194px; COLOR: orange; FONT-FAMILY: arial; HEIGHT: 231px; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent"><p>ENTER YOUR CODE HERE</div></center>

Even though in the coding it lists "center" and I've chosen to center it once placing the coding in my WIA, after I save it... it always ends up on the far left.

Is there a way to make it centered?

I place the coding and if I don't add what I want in that box, the words "ENTER YOUR CODE HERE" and the scroll box will be centered.  But once I place the text of what I want there and save it, it goes to the far left.

...... oh, to have the WIA area easier to work with than it is

Well the scroll box that you have on your page is centered when I look at it using Firefox. Sometime I find that the way we see our WIA is different then the way others see it.

I've found that if I edit it using MIE which is now Microsoft Edge... so I guess it's ME? when I edit it in that, it distorts everything; making everything horribly spaced or scrunched together. I edit it using Chrome, which I can no longer use with this site since it is the only site that stores the passwords incorrectly.  I'm using Mozilla Firefox for voting and everything else. Maybe one day it will be as "fancy" as some that I see...

SIerra have you tried changing the saved passwords on chrome? It might have saved incorrectly at first and just kept that on using that one

I've tried that. I've tried everything.  This started happening after uploading Win10 and this site is the only site that it happens.

I've been avoiding updating. I have window 7 and my mum bought a new computer with the next one up. I HATED the interface. HATED it. Of course windows 10 is the same interface. No thanks. Another reason to cling onto this old thing for as long as possible (lol).

I only hate it 66% of the time.  =)  I was afraid that eventually, things on the net wouldn't work if you had one of the older versions so I went ahead and updated it to "get used to it"  I don't like how "edge" is sometimes and of course, Chrome and this site not saving Passwords correctly.
