* welcome to my TROPICAL getaway *

Aloha!  Welcome to the CocoCabana, my home away from home ^.^  This vacation villa is another never seen before MDD "do-over". Never seen before because this design was planned for a Christmas reveal... I thought it would be a nice change of pace to soak up some virtual sun in the middle of winter.  Sadly, the tropical tour was cancelled with unexpected arrival of "The End" on Dec. 1, 2010 *sniffle*

If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, or you just like pina coladas... consider a trip to the CocoCabana.  We offer all the amenities of home in an island oasis... plus housekeeping :P  Sit back and relax on our sandy beach or ocean terrace... both offer balmy breezes and breathtaking views of paradise.  Don't forget the sunscreen!

The theme for CocoCabana was based on this window:

which, if memory serves, was from the Wedding Room adventure.  The absolutely perfect (if slightly quirky) centerpiece came later, with the introduction of the whimsical fishtub from Aquavilla... which I knew immediately would become an actual fish tank ^.^

Tropical windows have come and gone since the migration to OMD... but none of them were MY window (which I still miss).  Finally, the Funny Housemates adventure provided a window which I felt was a reasonable replacement.  I paid an exorbitant price to acquire the current window... and now you can buy one from Playa for only $30 *sigh*

CocoCabana is, of course, a reference to the Barry Manilow cla$$ic... Copacabana.  Our music clips are gone, but feel free to sing along in your head: "At the Copa..." :P
