Princess Gabrielle is the third eldest out of eight children, and the only daughter of King Obedion and Queen Adelaide. She can often be found with a book in hand, and pencil and paper nearby. She has always had a love of learning no matter the subject, although history and languages are her favorites. Her eldest brother is Crown Prince Killian.

The Darkness had been spreading from Kingdom, to Kingdom, and it had become obvious it would claim Princess Gabrielle of Shdowland far before her 16th birthday. Having only just turned 13 mere days before, King Obedion recieved a pigeon with words of hope for his only daughter. It told of a carriage that would take her safety, and would keep her safe until the kingdoms were once again free of the Darkness. It was with many tears that Gabrielle kissed Queen Adelaide and King Obedion goodbye. Whispers of love a good wishes were traded. Her oldest brother, Crown Prince Killian, gifted her with his favorite sword, to both remember/think of him, and for safety as she journeyed to where her carriage would await her that night. Due to the Darkness the Enchantress had deplyed, the Royal Family felt that creating several distractions throughout their lands would give their only daughter the best chance to reach safety. It was with heavy hearts they seperated, vowing they would all see eachother someday, hopefully soon. The heavy rain soon hid Gabrielle from her family's eyes. It was a several hours journey to safety, with perils ranging from bandits, to creatures of Darkness that could hinder. Fortune smiled, at least a little on the Royal Family that rainy night however. The distractions her family enacted all over the kingdom kept the Darkness' focus on those areas, letting Gabrielle slip silently into safety.
