Hey everybody! Even though most of you do not know this i have a soft spot for extinct animals, the absolutely fascinate me! There is one extinct animal from Tazmania, Australia called the Thylacine, or Tazmanian Tiger. These animals are really cool even though the are not tigers, they get their name from their tiger-like stripes on their back; they are actually marsupials and represent dogs or wolves more than they do cats. They have really big jaws that can open wider than most mammals. They are predators and became extinct in the 1900s. Farmers began to put up bounties for them because they were killing livestock and in about 50 years they became incredibly endangered, but unfortunately that was not enough to keep them from going extinct. The last Thylacine died in a zoo in the Hobart Zoo on September 7th 1936 and since then there have been many unconfirmed sightings. Scientists are now working to clone this animal so they can again live in Australia how they did before they became extinct.

i have 5 horses of my own and their names are: Sunny, a golden palomino she died march 17th 2011 and will always be in my heart ( she was #7), Orlando, a retired racehorse, Sahara, a brown arabian, Rocket, a morgan, Mindy, a brown quarterhorse , and Skip Jack, the baby of Mindy who is a mix between quarterhorse and morgan.
