Hi! I'm Diane, but I find karenfromfinance such an amusing drag name.

I was born in the Philippines, but grew up in America. Eventually, we moved to the UK. Right now I'm occupied with my thesis. Because my study is based in the Philippines, I was able to reconnect with my Filipino heritage these past few months. I had such wonderful and life-changing experiences, and I owe it to the people who made me feel so welcomed in the duration of my stay in the Philippines.

Always be open to new experiences. Take a risk. Go travel. Enjoy the journey, not just the destination. :)

I started playing October/ November 2018. I'm exploring the game as of the moment. Being relatively new, I aim to unlock some basic achievements and get the trophies. With that being said, I am interested in exchanging votes and making new friends. :)

I am a silent (because I'm a bit busy at the moment) but regular voter. You can just leave a comment, or just vote directly. I return every single votes I get.

Sometimes I leave votes because I really like the dolls and lofts. I don't vote simply because I expect people to vote me back. :)

These are my other accounts:

FUN FACT: "Niyog" is and "bachoy" are Filipino words. I learned that you can derive a LOT of products from coconut trees. "Niyog" is an aged coconut, which you extract to get coconut milk. Coconut milk are widely used in many Filipino dishes. During my immersion in the rural communities, they showed me the preparation process in cooking their food. Most households have their own tools for the extraction. It's a rectangular wooden stool with a round blade protruding at the front. I've never seen anything quite like it before. The word "niyog" tells a lot about their culture. There's no direct English translation to this word, but because coconuts are such a common part of their everyday lives, Filipinos have a specific term for it. The account's theme is mythical creatures/ angelic beings.

"Bachoy" on the otherhand, is a unique Filipino dish that I love. It's a noodle soup with pork, innards, and blood. I first tasted it as a dare, and I didn't expect to love it at all. But it actually tastes really good. The account's theme is fairy land/ enchanted forest.

A cardigan is the last gift I got from a special deceased friend. No specific theme, I sort of use it to experiment on stuff since I'm still learning the game.

P.S. I would also like to thank everyone for giving me gifts. I really really appreciate it! Thanks for leaving comments as well. I feel bad because I really can't spend more time leaving comments back. What a nice community! You guys are one of the reasons why I am still active here. :)
