Step 1: Born to sing

Since I was in school, I discovered a passion! I have something in my voice that arrives to the inner part of the people. When I sing, people listen carefully and I feel there is a connection. I remember the eyes of my Granny when I sang my favourite love songs for him, he was impressed.
I love to sing, I like that people feel my feelings and everything I express to the world through my songs.
Since I was ten, I'm taking lessons with a teacher. She is a bit old and severe, but this allowed me to develop a good technique.
Soon, I will finish my highschool, and I'd like to devote myself entirely to my music but my small interventions in local choirs are not enough to live...
I'm pretty lost about my professional choices for the future. I do not feel good about doing something else that is not singing, I don't want an Ordinary life... I want to live strong emotions, I want to live like an artist.
My parents have always encouraged me in my dreams and my passion but they say I have to study to make a living. Think about a real job, as they say.
I believe they do not really take me seriously when I tell them that I want to make of my voice my working tool... they want to protect me from an environment that is known to be difficult and instable.
I have build up a group with musician friends. Two nights a week we practice at Steeve's place. Their parents own a large property and they are often away, this allows us to practice in the garage without anyone around!
From time to time, we make mini-concerts with some friends to host parties and actually we don't get paid.
I think the hardest thing to see is people that do not put attention to you, preferring eating instead of listening to us, after all the effort we do to play good music.

Step 2: Prom Dance Night

I've managed to convince the School to let out group organize the show for the Prom dancing party!
I'm happy because it's a great privilege that offer use the chance to show our work to the whole school!
We have rehearsed for weeks, the show mut be perfect! The boys are under pression, sometimes their conversations become incomprehensible... I feel the pression too! Nothing goes as expected, I well known. You have to learn to manage the unexpected!
We worked hard on pieces to make the people dance, and oviously, also on two slow pieces to create a romantic and emotional atmosphere. The promo parties represent the most romantic time of the year for most girls. Often, it's a goodbye moment, because everyone take his way...
For mee too it's an hard moment, I will go to study at the university of Ohmydollz City. In addition, I still do not know what I want to do...
This change worry me, I hope I can see again my friends of the group in the future, and we made a promise for that.
To enhance our show, I have convinced the guys to wear hyper classy suits. You should have seen their faces... However, they were perfect!
I blushed when, on the evening of the performance, they fought for accompany me on stage. Real kids! I wore a beautiful dress. I felt like a princess. Externally I had to give a safe and calm impression, but on my inside I was trembling!! Yet, I hope to feel this sensation before going on stage during all my life, this feeling is both terrifying and exciting... When I sing the first notes, I feel finally to be in my element!

Step 3: Frustration

Today, nothing goes well. I'm here in my blue pajamas with polka dots (my favorite) on my sofa, watching a reality TV show eating an ice cream.

No comments, thank you. Who never done that, cast the first stone. This kind of program reassure me a little, because I see the mediocrity of a lot of people, and I think that I'm not that way. I know it's a bit bad, but when you are so sad like me now, this helps a lot!!
I'm bored with my studies, my last boyfriend cutted with be because my ex best friend. He said: "you know, I'm too bad, I don't deserve you... Translation: well I loved you but your girlfriend is so hot.."
Our group didn't mantain the promise, we do not see each other anymore. And above all, I feel fat and ugly.
But I think the worst is the refusal that I received everywhere to break into the business. I believe I have traveled looking for all the record companies in the region. J always have to deal with the same jaded types that spew you their disgusting cigar smoke telling you:
You're not bad, you know, but we look for someone with experience ... You're a little too young, you see..."
I'm so sad, and today I wonder if maybe my parents were right ... All this is just nonsense, and I need to find a real job rusalka ! What have I immaginated? my life would be exciting....but Woah, wake up and Welcome to the real world!
Nervously I dipp my spoon into the pot to take the last bite throwing glaring at the bimbo made in silicone who laughs like a pitcher on my screen.

Step 4: Piano Bar

My neighbor is a pianist. The self-taught kind one that has an incredible talent!
He hearded me singing several times and he loves my voice. He said that we could do something together.
Joe is very nice, he has a lovely smile that makes you feel immediatly confortable. When he plays the piano, it looks like his hands are specially designed to do so. He has an impressive speed and dexterity! But above all, I Love his style.
He has a talent for jazz, and sometimes he plays in a jezzy bar. He introduced me also his boss, who hold the Brown Bar on the 11th street in Dollz City.
Finally he convinced me to make some try and sing with them, he says I have a perfect voice for jazz.
I'm happy to see that now I have some "habituè" who come to listen at me on my programmed evening.I also receive a lot of invitations and flowers!
I didn't tought that my careers in the music was like that....
But who never knows?
The other day a woman who specially loves my voice proposed me to sing at her marriage party...important persons from the music world will be there
I sayd yes with no hesitation, maybe this can be the right occasion for me!

Step 5: Kissing you

What a pressure! I am standing with hands crossed on my stomach, my heart ready to explode in my chest.
Sing, a cappella, in a huge and beautiful church, with a audience of two hundred people... I cannot permit ot myself any false note or the slightest tremor, the slightest hesitation. In other words, I have to sing perfectly or I will spoil the wedding.
The organ starts playing the first motes...the couple is entering in the church. My god, I have tears in my eyes, they are both so beautiful, the moment is full of emotion.
The organ plays the last note and it's my turn.... I am alone, terribly vulnerable to all those eyes staring at me in silence.
then I sing the first note, I have decided to interpret Kissing you by Desree. The time is almost surreal. I no longer think, I am driven by my own voice, silences between notes are intense. I see the people truly touched.
At the end of my moment, people all get up and applaud sincerely.
I feel all weak, I gave everything.
At the end of the ceremony, I was invited to the banquet. There a man, a portly old gentleman, told me: "A voice like yours can not remain unknown to the general public" and gave me his number.
I take confidence in me! Finally some recognition!
I wait a few days before call the old man. Somewhere, I'm afraid...maybe because i'm still disappointed to see me offer a little interpretation
I want more! I would like to convey my emotions, my texts, I would like have a public that follow me for what I am...

Step 6: Underground

The old gentleman, George, is one of the Organizer of the Music festival more famous in the region. Concerts are held outdoors for a whole weekend!
It offers me to be part of the new Talent section of his festival. He knows a group of metal rock musician who is looking for a singer. My voice could quite match what they seek.
I'm a little sad, because I remember my ancient group, but George reassures me, from the top of its 50 years of age, reminding me that it's part of life and you don't have to look back.
I have to thanks George, he motivate me a lot because You do not become an international star in a day!
My new group is cool, behind their appearance of bad boys, they are all adorable and they really appreciate our collaboration.
Anyway soon or later I have to decide myself about what to do, leave the studies and work only on the music. Actually is what I have choose: the metal rock, I like to experiments with new kinds of sounds
People often have a negative view of that style without really knowing the environment.
During the festival the concert is going great! The crowd moves in rhythm, singing with us, is electrifying!

Step 7: Show TV

Driven by the guys of the band and the fans, I decided to take part to a Musical talent show which aims to find the new voice of the Year. It's not that stressful for me, I'm used now to this kind of experiences. The hardest is to be judged in a few minutes by four important showbiz people.
I managed to pass the selections, the jury noticed me. They like my tone of voice. Steven Tyler keeps supporting me, he said I have a mature voice and identity despite my young age. I decide to continue my adventure under his coaching.
Selection continue and I continue to be chosen by my coach. It gives me great advices and I am more confident. Old friends Called me every day now. It's Strange this sudden consideration. I still keep feet on the ground and give regular updates to my parents. They are worried about this dark world , but I try to reassure them. They know that I have my head on my shoulders and I know where I want to go.
The night of the final arrived. Everywhere on the internet I am followed by thousands of fans, I seem to be the favorite. I go on the stage as it is the last time. I'm going to enjoy this moment.
I've decided to sing "What about us" of Michael Jackson.
The jury was won over, and this time the public is sovereign. Results fall, I am the winner of the program, I am the new voice of Ohmydollz!

It's a bit surrealistic what is happening now: persons who once called me inexperienced kid, now stand at the door of my agent to get a contract with me. I feel like an object on sale to the highest bidder.
I do not let me manage and I stay fixed on my goals. I won't associate with a record company, even with millions of Euro on the table, if I think that they don't agree with my vision of the music.
I do not want to swing the chain of albums to sell, I want to work my creations, working with interesting people who are sensitive to my work.
My parents are proud of me, they talk about their daughter to everyone.
Tomorrow I'm going on a world tour. I have hundreds of thousands of fans around the world. I can finally live my passion!
