The forum's summer look

While it's cute, one would think they would have chosen a FALL look. I believe that in Paris, their weather is similar to that in the US. Whereas, where andybel lives, her weather is total opposite of ours.

the theme seems to be vacations, and they may be taking one in the south of the planet where it is early spring?
or maybe to appeal to southern fans? XD
my only complaint is that the ice cream icon should look much brighter for unread topics and much greyer? duller? for "no unread" topics :/

I found out it had something to do with a contest on the French forums. And that the Fall look would be coming up pretty soon.

While I agree some of the active/inactive icons could be more noticeable, I also remember how unhappy everyone was when our board was the old, all pink layout.

Now that we have the new layout, that updates every so often, it seems a bit.......I don't know, ungrateful? to complain about it. Almost as if no one will ever be happy with what we do have.

I was okay with the pink look. And it's constructive critisism, and also... curiosity. There's actually a post in this forum for people to post what they are thankful for. Not a lot have posted there, I don't believe.

Sorry about that. Like sierra said, we realy are thankfull for the change and just wanted to make some constructive cristicism.
I actualy love the new layout and the fact that we get a fresh new one every now and then. I eventualy figured out that the ice cream cone has a green bit that has a higher contrast, but it did take me a while.
Anyway, thanks again for the forum layout update!
We may not say it often enough, but we love what you've been doing for the forums and the game. good
