The gifts have to be implanted by hand if I remember correctly, so they change around midnight but we must not forget that it is not a machine but a real Christmas elf who takes care of it, he can so there may be a slight shift depending on the circumstances ^^

that explains why I didn't get the gift shortly after midnight the other day (but i remembered to check again later and got the gift)

We need to make sure we log back in the next day before they reset the votes to get that gift. If we forget to log in, then we miss out on the gift... which I've done with a lot of my dolls.
