I'm having the same problem as you, sierradane. Giving up trying to enter since it's just too frustrating.

Just an observation... I found creating an outfit with the selected pieces challenging =(

Items basically fall into 1 of 6 categories (7, if you separate long & short dresses):
~purses
~wigs
~shoes
~tops
~bottoms
~dresses

If you are using one of the long gowns, that generally eliminates tops or bottoms from your outfit... leaving you only 3 categories to choose from: purses, wigs, and shoes (and long gowns would not require/show the use of shoes). Add in your gown, and that's only a total of 4 items!

The 5 item requirement means that you know have to "double" up on items like shoes... or hide items like skirts, wigs, or purses.

It would have been really nice if there had been some accessories included in the selection... necklaces, earrings, tiara, sash, bouquet. Something to help those who selected a long gown meet the 5 item requirement without camouflaging unnecessary pieces.

I was wondering after seeing alredy registered dolls if we have to dress yourself as a "miss" so I searched french forum (I love google translate ^.^) and saw sarah post were she said that there isn't any theme this week - good for me as my costume isn't realy a miss one ouf

This is very annoying. I've been trying to submit my doll in the fashion show… I met all the requirements and still saying "I don't"… I really don't know what else to do!

I finally managed to get registered, which with the choices given... I did have to "double" up on the shoes.

I remember the day when a person could wear whatever they wanted to enter.... were... those... the days? ('those were the days)

I also noticed on the fashion show, (we can't vote yet) I could keep changing the three dolls with the little orange button again and again without having to wait two minutes. I haven't look at the fashion show in a while, but is that normal?

I chose the REPORTER ending instead of the other one, does that mean I cannot enter the fashion show?

hypn I'm confused so were you like supposed to create an original outfit? or just use those choices? but to be honest everyone's is going to be wearing them well the majority nrv I don't like doubling it ruins the outfit but there is no other way....

I totally agree with N0regrets and sierradane it would be better if every doll created her own design.....

I'm pretty sure that if you only chose the reporter ending, then you cannot participate in the fashion show. You can probably register, but you won't have enough of the required items anyway. The event that corresponds to the reporter ending requires you to create a "montage" of OMD photos that show you, your friend etc, anything OMD related and you have to email it to them (i saw it on the Ferrik news page but i forgot).

If I'm wrong, someone please tell me!

Yea you're supposed to use the items from the adventure that are specified at the top of the thread. I guess the originality comes from adding your own things and style to dresses/clothes that everybody has.

thanks eyecandy, but I have like eleven items on of the choices, and it will still not let me register. oy. and i had my other dolls buy some thing last minute just so they could enter - but it's not letting them register either. wasted money on them. But I did complete the reporter. How not fair to let us know way sooner. sad

I'm in the same boat as lionesslady; I completed the adventure with the Reporter ending but I have more than enough choice from the items listed to enter. I also tried to keep with a more 'Reporter' type theme, since that's how my adventure ended. I found I had enough pieces to wear five from the adventure then I added other bits and pieces to come up with a slightly more original outfit.
All this, however, is seemingly just for my own amusement as I am unable to enter owing to the FS telling me Six is not wearing enough adventure items (she's actually wearing six, since there's another bag hidden under Six's jacket). This is Six, in case anyone would like to take a look.
