Referring to the Miss Dollzland 2012 adventure guide, which can be found here (http://us.ohmydollz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4181 )... the last step of the adventure had two career options:

It appears that to enter the Miss Dollzland 2012 Fashion show, as explained in the Feerik Blog (http://blogus.feerik.com/ )... you must be a Miss Forever:
(as long as you completed the step 'Miss Forever' at the end of the quest)
So, as I read it, the Fashion Show is only open to those who chose the Miss Dollzland career... not reporters, who are 'Journalist Forever'.

Aaah, well, that might explain things, n0regrets. Clearly things got a bit mixed up in my head. I was mostly presuming that since I had pretty much everything on the list for required items that I'd be able to enter. I'm still a little disappointed, but I guess that's what I get for picking the reporter career option!

You can only enter the fashion show if you finished the ending for Miss OMD 2012... if you did finished the reporter ending you can enter in the journalist contest...
