Fashion show: Trousers or nothing!

Hello Dollz!

Goddbye to skirts and dresses! This week is dedicated to the trousers! Will you create an original, class and feminine outfit with trousers? It's possible!  Take up the challenge! This week, the theme is: Trousers or nothing!

To participate, that's easy: imagine an original and feminine outfit! Time to be unique and original.

You must have  :

- at least 1 Item from the OMD Basics Store http://www.ohmydollz.com/design/magasin/fr/officielle-2.png

- at least 1 Item from the Fall Store http://us.ohmydollz.com/design/magasin/us/automal-1.png

Remember :

- You mus be wearing at least 8 Items.

I think the "snow and mountains" is from last weeks fashion show?

It does say the theme is trousers on the french site, but I think the part about snow and mountain got thrown in by mistake?

Just wondering if others agree. (I want to make sure I'm on theme.) :)

I also think that is a mistake. I seen a few dolls with dresses or skirts on. Trousers that is a nice theme.

Hey! I was in first place for an entire hour!!  Didn't figure I'd stay there.  Glad I took a screenshot.  I found it ironic that out of the top 15 in that first hour, only one is still in the top 15:

It isn't the first time people are wearing different items the show is about unfortunately.

What happened to the possibility that the makers of this game would kick out a person from the fashion show that didn't follow the theme for the week?

They might do that on the French site - I don't know, I don't usually look at the F.S. there. I do wish they'd do that on this site, though. It's so ridiculous...

How did you manage to have that many in the top 15?  Lucky?

I'd like to know what would happen if the one who would win THIS or any week had ever won in a past FS, would the system pick that up?  Or just automatically reward who ended up in first place?

Unfortunately they've never had it in this version, they have it in the French version & recently it's been added to the Italian one too.
If a doll wins an FS it can't be entered again but if you enter with a new doll you can win again as the system doesn't pick up on previous winners entering with new dolls.

I think that in playing this game, probably one of everyone's goals is to win the fashion show.  As far as the Fashion show goes, my first goal there was to at least finish in 15th place when the Fashion show had ended.  Well, I've reached THAT goal :)

Maybe one day I'll win one of the Fashion shows, but I highly doubt it.  I just think in order to win it, you have to spend time watching it the entire week.  I don't think you can just enter and forget about it for the week and win.  Sometimes I think that it's all orchestrated by whoever is determined to win that week, that's just my opinion and an opinion that might open up a lot of disagreement.

And an afterthought:  I really hope the top three that win will be wearing trousers/pants and not some dress.

I've never done so well in a fashion show! But I totally agree with sierradane, the contestants need to follow the theme guidelines. It drives me crazy when I see dolls with random stuff on.

Actually, that's what happened when I entered the Fashion show. There wasn't a theme that week, so I randomly entered at the start of the week, and forgot all about it. I remember looking on the last day thinking, "I wonder who's winning the fashion sh- That's me!".

But I do agree with no one following the set theme. It's frustrating when I was voting and had three dolls with dresses on and had to wait to refresh. There should be a way to report a doll not following the fashion show theme.
