Anyone else noticed this?

I first saw it on the french site. And then when I checked here voila! It was here too!! Thanks Feerik! Its wonderful!

Exactly the same as me!!! I saw it on the French website yesterday, and was like "WOW!!!" and then I logged on today and there it was again fete

ya i saw it on the french version when it first came out, and glad it wasnt only for them :) i loove the new layout its amazing :)

No more listing of news on the front, I will miss that. And will we still see the new items and rooms shown in the pictures? There was always such a moment of excitement when loading the page and seeing a new dress or room layout. Ah well, I'm an old fuddy duddy and don't like change much. As long as I can still log in and play that's what matter.

ya i also have the same problem now i have to log in to see the board -.- but i save the bored in my favorties so i dont need to log in everythime.

I must be an old fuddy duddy, too. When I saw the new layout on the French site I was hoping it wouldn't be for the other ones, eh heh...But I knew it would come to pass. I don't like the facebook fan list on the bottom, and I'll miss seeing the News section. pleur

I agree with most of you. I like the layout, but the old one was so much better. It just seems like OMD is wanting to be the same like every other site (many sites have a similar layout), but oh well since I still don't like half of the changes omd has made ;p

I do like how it's more cool looking...? XD

I prefer the old one better. It was more homier in a way. I liked seeing the front doll changed to the new outfits everytime. She will be missed

I had a mini panic attack when I saw it. I kept saying, "Woah, woah, woooaahhh.", as I looked over the new layout. I do approve of it though. :)

The new design look more professional agreed but the old one was a bit more ...useful (we could see the news search for other dollz and other stuff ) .
Anyways what's with the names and numbers ? (like sarah 30, victoria 13?)

I think those are top dolls with their ages and what they do. Or people that just work at the company for that job? I don't know. That's just my guess.

Yes, I saw that, and this I actively dislike in the extreme. My computer is ancient enough to already have difficulty with a lot of websites, including Facebook so I'm not at all certain I'm seeing everything going on on the front page now. Adding mandatory pop-up's for the news is on the verge of making the game unplayable for me. It makes me have to take extra steps to see the news as opposed to simply going to the news page.

For all that people say it looks more professional, I disagree. Taking away text always strikes me as trying to appeal to people who don't want to read.

As I said before, my dislike isn't going to change anything. I'll just have to hope I don't end up losing yet another game to unnecessary tinkering.

I just find we have to click on more and more things to actually do anything on this website. There are tabs, tabs, and more tabs. Especially with the new 'news' layout. It's pretty frustrating.

And I agree with the idea that just adding pictures and taking away text seems to appeal to people who don't want to read! To have to click on the picture to see what it's about...it's going to frustrate and slow down people with slower computers and internet connections.

Yes. Comments for instance. While I appreciate not having to wade through mile long scrolls of pics and blingy on some pages, I end up looking at my comments about once every few months on average now. I just don't like clicking on all the extra tabs so I don't.

I just really don't see how adding extra steps to do everything is more "professional" or slicker looking. It just takes away from functionality, which is ultimately the point of any website. Being able to easily use it.

While I think the front page is much more professional and all together a better look the news page is just awful.

I'm not sure the dollz mentioned on the front page are real other than Sarah. I think they're just a demonstration of who can play!
