I was afraid this was going to happen. I don't like having to go to two different websites to play a game. I also don't want to see this game go to facebook..

I don't necessaryly think it's going to be a game on facebook. I think the point is that it will be another message board. From what I could understand from the French page on facebook, it posted news there the way the do here on the actual site.

Although I can't speak for the polls and contests that will be held there, it seems like just another avenue to communicate with us.

I strongly dislike how facebook gets involved in everything these days and with plenty of good solid reasons.
These range from carelessness with privacy and personal information to financial cuts out of money to game credit conversions
(where you get a lot less virtual currency for your money when FB credits become the way to buy in game credits).
And if problems occur its practicaly impossible to get any kind of support.
If OMD is getting more and more connected to FB my interest in playing here go's right down with it.

This is not an extenstion to the game. It's just a place for those of us on Facebook to gather and talk about the game.
