Part 3, the last part.

Matt:
Once Sylvain was safely locked in the car Matt went back in for the others. The first person he saw was Jason, who was watching Rel be dragged around on the dance floor and clearly trying not to laugh. “Jason!” he called out. “Where’s Dex?”

Jason shrugged. “You want me to get Rel?”

Matt nodded. “Meet at the car.”

Jason went off to do his job, leaving Matt alone to do the impossible: find Dex and get him back in the car. He also needed to find Theo and Shade, the other trouble-makers in their group.

Jason:
Jason let Rel be tortured for a few minutes before finally weaving his way through the crowd and freeing him from the clutches of the glitter covered girl. They walked out and went to the car, where Sylvain was sitting and making rude gestures at any unfortunate soul who happened to pass by the car window. Rel unlocked the doors with some faerie magic and they both got in.

“Hi guys!” Sylvain exclaimed drowsily. He reeked of alcohol and something else sweeter.

Jason was impressed. “Wow, Sylvain, usually you’re so serious and boring.”

Sylvain laughed happily. “I know, right? But that’s the sober me. The drunk me is EPIC.”

Matt:
After getting Jack, Jonathan, Vincent, Luke and Tellis in the car Matt went back in to search for Dex, Theo and Shade. He concentrated on Dex first, tuning out all his senses except for his hearing. He could hear Dex talking to some guy. He frowned. They were talking about drugs.

He followed the sound of their voices until he found them standing near the bar.
Grabbing the back of Dex’s shirt he hauled him outside, with a last curt apology to the guy he’d been talking to. Once they were a safe distance away Matt said firmly, “Give it to me.”

Dex glared at him before handing over a small pack of white powder. “All of it.” Matt said through gritted teeth. Dex glared at him harder before retrieving three more packets from the inside of his shoes and handing them over.

Theo:
Theo barely refrained from hitting Shade, who was flirting with the girl he’d been dancing with. Suddenly Matt stepped in front of him. “Where’s Shade?” he asked. Theo pointed in the opposite direction. “Thanks.” Matt mumbled and walked away, giving him an extra few minutes to try and win back his girl.

He went up to her and started kissing the back of her neck, regardless of the fact that Shade was right in front and they’d been talking to each other.

Shade:
Shade was about to start a fight with Theo when Matt came up to them, fuming. He grabbed them both by their shirts and dragged them to a very full car where all the others were waiting. When they got inside Theo said, “She chose me in the end.”

“She did not.” Shade replied sharply.

Theo smirked. “Yeah, actually, she did.”

Shade wanted nothing more than to wipe that smirk off his face. Preferably with his fist. “She only danced with you because there was no one else at the time. The moment she saw me, she left you.”

“Both of you, SHUT UP!” Matt shouted and everyone fell silent. Staring stonily ahead, he said quietly, “We are NEVER doing this again.”

Lesson learnt: never reading kiera's fanfics at work.
As for the fanfic, awesome...I can imagine Val's face smirking and telling Matt, ” told you drinking is bad.”

My darling baby girl,
Happy Birthday angel! I know you are a 16 year old teenager today, a woman
