Was this meant to be apart of Day 8 or just a glitch? It showed up in my inventory right after I clicked/received the gift for Day 8. It shows to be a Collector Item.

Fabulosity (n) 1. a state of everything that is fabulous. 2. a quality ascribed to that which expresses glamour, style, charisma, power, and heart.

Re: Advent Calendar - Behind closed doors 2012

I'm so lazy that I haven't really checked my loft >.< but I got those ornaments too, so I've added it in as a bonus. Would especially like it if anyone unlocking the door with Feez could say if they also get it...

Like me do you ever wish you could zoom in and out on your doll? I sure do, cause I'd be curious to see if that speckling on today's stocking looks like it might be a snowfall pattern...

Your internet browser has the capability to zoom in and out.

Firefox: View > Zoom
Chrome: Menu > Zoom
Internet Explorer: View > Zoom

It still looks like speckling no matter how much you zoom in, though. :-)

True, to a point.

However, in [my] Firefox that sort of zoom work more towards magnification. And actually I've screwed some setting up that makes embedded flash applets like our lofts no zoom at all. The page around it does, but not the Flash, real annoying when I zoom out and it cuts the applet off cause it doesn't fit. Someday I'll figure out what I did...

What even zoom fails to do though, is improve the resolution, which should show us any detail, if it exists.

ouf  Sorry, my answer above stands, but this isn't the place to get into this so I won't say more, my apologies for the unseasonable digression ^_^

Is OMD having a funeral? The clothings pieces are black and doesn't scream Christmas or joyful.

Re: Advent Calendar - Behind closed doors 2012

nah, it's not somber black. From some viewpoints black IS a seasonal color as well what with the solstice and all. Also I'm not entirely sure, but even though we recognize the start of winter being about now, didn't many cultures consider it to be mid-winter?

I will agree that the clothes aren't festive, but they do lean towards the classy which suits a lot of types of parties.

Re: Advent Calendar - Behind closed doors 2012

For holiday colors, in my opinion, black/silver/gold would be good colors to wear on or to New Year's Eve parties.  I have a female manaquin that I used to have in my beauty shop which we dressed for whatever the season or holiday was.  Her New Year's dress was black velvet and she look very festive.  Her Christmas dress was red velvet.  She lives at my mom's house & has worn her Christmas dress all year! oops!!  I was busy taking care of my mom this summer.  By the way, the manaquin's name is Clo Tia Anoit.

As for that gold necklace, it looks odd with the outfit that is slowly coming together. (I'm wearing it in the New-Lywood room).  I wish that they could have put the collar on the blouse instead of 2 objects.  Or better yet, make it a dress or ONE object.

Thank you Fairy.

I think the necklace is an accessory to a dress we are gonna get. We always do get a dress right?

Re: Advent Calendar - Behind closed doors 2012

Sorry for the delay today guys. Spent most the free day getting my holiday decorating done (and the empty boxes put away, wheee!)

I actually think today's earrings are better than most. The turquoise gemstone I think will show up better. Maybe I'm using the wrong combinations, but I find most earrings disappear on my doll, even the light/white one on my dolls current dark complexion.

And if you don't peek here tomorrow, have a great weekend!

You Can't wear collar?.How come the collar is in my "My Things"?It's also not invisible like its not there in my loft.I wore the collor before too.The collar is also hard to find a button up shirt.

It is now wearable since they fixed the bug that was occurring at the time the Advent calendar began which was on a Saturday.  The bug lasted until sometime on Monday, Dec 3.

By the way, today's gift which turned out to be some sort of painting, I used as a Christmas package by adding a bow to it and placing it behind my tree.
