Christmas Store

I don't know about any one else but it's full Christmas mode around where I live. My work even just put up the decorations. There are less than 20 days to Christmas and I'd sorely like to start buying some Christmas stuff for here.

It doesn't work like it used to. Christmas was a one week thing. December is a month all about Christmas. I just feel Feerik is falling behind with these things. The Halloween store didn't open until almost Halloween, it seems to be the same for Christmas.

Anyone else feel the same or am I just being impatient?

I'm hoping that since the Eqyptian store closes tomorrow, the Christmas store will open at that time.

When I did hair for a living, as far as Halloween we would decorate our shop at the beginning of September so we had all that up for 2 months. And for Christmas, we'd begin slowly about a couple days after Halloween. And for sure had everything up the day after Thanksgiving or thereabouts.

I'm dragging my things out for Christmas here on various dolls & seeing things I'd like more of but can't at the moment BECAUSE that item is from the Christmas store.

Edit: I also want to add I feel we usually get a lot nice things and now it's a little dead. I don't feel the Christmas spirit yet.

I wish the Christmas store would open a month before, Because from what I heard that's when many people start shopping. My poor Christmas tree looks empty. I really need the Store to open. I'm hoping they would put an animated fireplace in there. *Fingers crossed*

I hope it opens soon.

There's some decorations for the Christmas tree in some of the other stores that include blinking lights, balls and ribbons. But I wish they'd open that store already

I definitely agree with you, Anya.

I've long been bothered by how late they open certain seasonal stores. The Hallowe'en store should be opened Oct 1st (in my opinion), and the Christmas store should be opened Dec. 1.

With me at least, they shoot themselves in the foot a bit by opening those seasonal stores so late. By the time they do open the Christmas store, Christmas will be what...a week or two at the most away? By then, I'll be back in saving mode and won't want to waste money on decorations that I can only display for a short time. I want at least a month with my decorations!

if my memory is working as it should, they use to open the Christmas Store before december even starts.

I feel the same way! I'm so upset right now. There's so many items to buy for my doll in that store. Not to mention the new items I'm expecting as well. I need that store to open immediately!

I agree Malu, when I saw that outfit I thought: "It looks like it's for the Chinese New Year." At least the colors are Christmassy... I want more elf-inspired clothes!

Maybe we get impatient because so many start to decorate during what is the US Thanksgiving weekend.

I do agree that the stores need to be opened at least 20-25 days prior to the holiday.

And I think the fact that we had the Halloween quest right on top of Halloween means we might get a Christmas-themed quest right on top of that holiday. Not sure I like that they are so close to the holidays (like the stores). It usually takes me a while to organize things and it's nice to have a week before the holiday for holiday-themed quests.
