[Design] New Look for the OhMyDollz Website

Hi Girllz!

We have been working on the new website design since we changed the homepage! And we have finished it!
It will be set up next week, stay tuned! ^^

Here is a quick overview of what you are gonna get in a few days:

A little birdie told me you were gonna love the loft... :D

And I have to agree with this. I haven't updated my WIA for more than 4 months, mainly because it takes me hours to sort out all the html. >_<

However, on the bright side, this looks really interesting and I really would enjoy the bigger preview of the loft. Thanks FEERIK and I really do hope this change is worth it ^_^

same here.
the current design is faster than the former one, i hope the next one won't be any slower.

as for the rest, looks interesting indeed. i only hope it will come fully translated so we don't need a french dictionary nor translator when it comes live XD(in a certain other feerik game, they sometimes forget to translate things in the english version)

I like the new look, it seems... more modern.

The only thing I would say is that it looks VERY very similar to the stardoll website layout.

But then again the one we have now looks like the OLD stardoll layout minus the quest bar of course.

Just noticed this just wanted to point it out :) PLease don't think i'm trying to be a pain or anything, i just wanted to point it out.

Either way, i love the look of the new loft, I really hope the view is bigger aomd_bravo

Normally, I dread changed... particularly B-I-G change, but I am looking forward to seeing the new layout.

It looks like there is a "master tab" for our lofts that (I hope) will be visible even when we are visiting other divas... it is quite tedious to have to go from another player's page, click (and wait) to reload our own loft, just to access our comments, Last 100, etc. I frequently refer back to my comments when leaving replies for other players... something that takes twice as long when I have to wait for TWO lofts (mine & theirs) to load!

I also am happy to see an OhMyGames tab is (still) present... hOoRaY ^.^

And I don't see a "Who I Am" tab... so I hope that means profiles will again be visible when viewing someone's loft. I haven't updated mine in ages, because I don't think a lot of players click on the various tabs that are unnecessary to voting.

Anyhow, time will (soon) tell

Probably after using it a few days, I'll grow to love it.

The thing that I don't like is that the WIA is on the same page. I had gotten used to that being separate & it was nice for dolls who have a slower connection speed since when they'd visit another doll who had a WIA that was "a mile long."

I miss my news area, that came in handy to know who's doll belong to who/whom(?). And, it was a running tally of the amount of feez I was saving.

And to get to THIS US message board..... I don't know how many times I've clicked on it and ended up on the French forum instead. Not to mention the sigs not showing up here.

When you click on the "board/forum" it opens up in a new window; sometimes going to the French forum. When you try to edit your post, it gives an error message totally in French even though when you manage to find your way back here... the message was successfully edited.

I like the new design I guess, although it is really messy and will gonna take some time to get used to it where all the buttons now are.

I agree with you. In the picture it look great but now it's just awfull. I don't like it at all.
