Well, I'm not sure if many of you liked my first poem, but I'm gonna post a second one anyway.

Do Not Fear

I know you feel fear,
I know you might lose what you hold dear.

I know the sun has not come up,
I know the water has not yet filled your cup.

I know the sun brings joy,
I know being controlled makes you feel like a toy.

I know the stars are covered,
And just out of reach you hope is hovered.

But you must see what we are here for,
And our generation will be forever more.

But hope is not yet lost,
And we must fight no matter what cost.

I hear what they say,
How you aren't perfect in any way.

I know you hear what they state,
But your mind has an iron plate.

That iron plate protects who you are,
And who you are should be seen from afar.

Do not take heed to their lies,
And don't be afraid of their spies.

You are perfect in every way,
And you'll stay that way, for every day.

If I was a bird,

The Bird's Song

I saw a man with a bird
And the bird's lovely song I heard.

He told me of a land
With mountain, water, and desert sand.

Stories of brave people are told,
And there is glass, as fine as gold

There is a great King
And even now His people sing.

He sits on a throne,
And a golden robe for Him is sewn.

But He values not such treasures,
For He loves his billions of peoples beyond measures.

He stands higher,
And His eyes are a great fire.

His hair is blazing white,
And with him you do not have to fight.

Then the bird stopped his song,
But his silence was not long.

The man called me over
And told me the story was not over.

"You may or may not know of this Man,
But you should know everyone can."

I did not know what he meant, or if it was true,
But now I understand it, and I hope you can too.

I will not tell you, this riddle is for you to ponder,
But if you search, your answer will not hide much longer.

Lies.
That is what I hear.

Illness.

Yes.
This is joy.

What can you do without it?

Medusa the Horrible,
Medusa the killer.
No one can stop her,
Can she live for ever?

How can you understand her?

Hair full of snakes,
Eyes cold as stone,
She is ugly but beautiful,
And her voice is an entrancing tone.

I yearn for the victory,

That I can kill her,

We want to understand, and we are yearning.

When we don't appreciate how our life was set.

Those are our last years,
The few decades everyone fears.

These are our worst days,
Because we regret our earlier ways.

But is it truly so bad,
The full and exiting life you had?

Even so, life your life fully,
Then you will like your life wholly.

Because you only have one,
So the things that you want, get them done!


It's Done

I guess it's done.
It's over, but it was fun.

I'll miss your smile.
It was your company that made it worth while.

What was your favorite part?
I personally liked the start.

What will I do now that this is over?
I've run out of my four leaf clovers.

I'll have too much free time,
But there aren't any more mountains to climb.

I guess I'm happy to be at rest,
But I like adventure the best.

But there's nothing more to do,
But I suppose those days are through.

Well, I'm grateful for what I had,
And also for what I have, I'm glad.

I guess I might be weak to be like this,
But I know I'm strong to keep going with so much to miss.
