"Sure you are." I grunt and reach above the doorframe, "There should be... a button... here... somewhere."
My fingers find a bunch of grooves carved into a thyrsos symbol and push it. The door's lock clicks, "Ah, there it is. Amary might not be affected by alcohol as much as normal people, but she still sometimes comes home in quite a state. Luckily, her mom is as irresponsible so she put a unlocking mechanic on the door frame."

I walk in and see Amary hanging lights and decorating, I head for the kitchen not bothering to call out. I forgot to eat today so I'm starving.

Me and Anna had entered through the back door so we could bring in more lights through the bigger door. While she was up in my room getting her hair juust right, I was downstairs in the foyer getting the lighting right, again.
"Oh hi! You guys are early. Drinks are over there," I pointed over to the door-less open kitchen/dining area. The door broke at the last party and I still hadn't bothered with fixing it so I just put it away into mom's room. "and please try not to snoop around."

A satyr came in with all his DJ gear. "Good, you're here. Set it up over there," I pointed at the space between the TV and the book shelf. "and get it going." Just as I said this, two sons and a daughter of Aphrodite came in the door and greeted me and Anna with air kisses.
"Lovely you could make it. Refreshments are over there, so help yourselves."

"Because your lives are, to coin a phrase, lifeless." I replied to Bec and turned to Xena. "Oh wait for it. They'll come."
