Hi you Western lovers!

Are you ready for a new adventure?

This week on #OhMyDollz our doll is Calamity Doll!

Yes, she discovers the Far West!

And this time, things are quite complicated since she is "WANTED"!

What's going on in this Western? Where is Dollz City?

Is someone gonna help her?

Finish this quest before Wednesday October 16th at noon (French time) and win tones of Far west gifts!

Here are some of the great gifts of this quest:

- NEW: The Western room from the Cinema tab and its Saloon extension!

- NEW MODEL: to dress an Native American doll!

- NEW CHARACTERS: to have the impression of feeling the smell of dust and horses in a room dedicated to the Far West!

- Complete outfits and other decor elements all Spaghetti Western style!

The more you progress in the story, the more prerequisites you need, but the gifts get better and better!

Oh. My. Goodness. I LOVE this quest. I don't often LOVE all the items from a quest but here we are - wonderful. (and finally a quest that keeps a theme all the way through so we don't have random levels of all sorts of different themes!). I don't know which of my dollz really fits 'Western' theme but I know some of them NEED to do this. I love love love all the dresses and we get 2 models! Wow. (can anybody tell I'm excited?) haha.

My hubby and I just started watching the TV series "Hell on Wheels" and quite thoroughly enjoying it, so this is right up my alley at the moment. Great idea for a quest, Feerik - love it!

Why is is every time I tell myself don't do any more quest till the Halloween one they came up with another awesome quest?

what's with the horseshoe? it appears in my things but not in any room I try to send it to? anyone else having this problem?

It shows up in "MY THINGS" as being animated, but I'm like you... it doesn't show in any room I send it to.

Maybe it's one of those "gift a day" things like in past quests? If only it would show up.

Isn't it cutting close to the Halloween quest to have another quest before then? o.o i really like this quest, the items you get are pretty awesome! But i'm trying to save for the Halloween quest lol.

So I looked through all my accounts...and 5 of them are quest-able...Now to decide if I should change their themes for this quest.

I really like it but I really really really need a man dolly. >.<

CALAMITY JANE!! Oh, how I loved watching that as a child. I've been really addicted to western things lately, like The Good, the Bad, and the Weird and Bonanza, so this is right up my alley. I really want to do this quest, but it's cutting it suuuuper close to Halloween. u_u

In fact girls, when some item appears in your "Things" but not in your rooms, you just need to empty your cookies and caches

From my experience, and I've been around for a while now, the holiday adventure/quests always happen a week to just a few days before the official holiday. So the Halloween quest will most likely happen October 23, or maybe even October 30. OhMyDollz seems to have two adventures a month, with special offers in between.

Back to this adventure, I'm not a Western fan, but I really love that train and old building in one of the last steps, so I must get them! I simply must! The Native American items are cute, too.

I empty my cookies and caches on the Chrome browser but not the MIE. The horse shoe shows up when using the MIE & it shows as no longer being animated in MY THINGS. I'm sure it will also show up on the Chrome browser when I fire that up.

Is it just me, or is the Native American girl not that Native American looking? It doesn't appear that she looks that different from the regular doll.
(And yes, I know, there are many different 'looks' for Native Americans as they are from all over the continent. I just don't think she looks that different from what we have.)

Oh yes, I felt the same way about the Native American doll, she doesn't look that much different than my main account's doll's skin. I think she needs to be a shade darker.

(I won't get in trouble for double posting, will I? hypn )

One of the characters that comes with this quest reminds me of Clint Eastwood.

Not a quest for me, but I noticed this room comes with music, which is a nice bonus.

I don't think I was thinking of her being darker...just different looking than the normal doll. I think they managed to address it nicely with the supermodel dolls we got a while back of the different races/ethnicities.

In any case, I'm glad they are realizing that there are a lot of different people out there who would like to be represented by this game.
