Manor Room Quest: Avatar & no buttons bugs

The screenshots below show two of my dolls who have done this quest.  Gretal doesn't have the extension and my main doll Sierra does.  Both were saved in the same spot with the new walls but their avatars still show up with the old walls. (to clarify, my doll gretalmcdane is NOT supposed to have the extension)

Also, I have heard from at least one of my friends that their buttons to change the walls aren't showing up for them.

I thought we got the extension when we did the last step. In the list of gifts, it looks like we receive the room in the second-last step, and the extension in the final step?

It's hard to figure out that last step since it is only a picture of the room circled.  I want to think that the next to the last step gives the room if you don't have it and gives the expansion if you do.  And (maybe) the last step gives the option to have the buttons?  (I'll have to see which doll I can do it on to maybe see)

My main doll already had the room but Gretalmcdane didn't but both dolls have the buttons and neither has an updated avatar and that's with using both IE & Chrome for browsers.

Okay.... on FIONADANE who DID NOT have that room, at the next to the last step she has received the room but no buttons, or as it's called in the Quest... Theme, so she can't change the background of that room.  But after finishing the last step, she should be able to.

Sure enough, now that Fionadane has finished the last step, she now has those buttons.... or two THEMES for the room.

has any one posted a guide for this quest? Ive been looking and haven't found anything. I didn't see it mentioned on the News board either.quoi
i would really love to do this sad quest but how much will it be total?

I have the same problem with the Manor room. The background on the avatar is different than the actual background.

The Manor Room is the reward for Step 7.  If you already had the Manor Room from the previous quest, you will receive the extension at Step 7.  If you earned the Manor Room during the April 2013 Panther Woman Is Born quest, but do not complete the "Eye of the She-Wolf" quest (I don't believe we ever got an "official" News post)... you will not have the "buttons" to change the Manor Room background.

You receive the alternate white & gold "skin" for the Manor Room when you finish Step 8.  Earning the "skin" does not give you the extended Manor Room... you room will be the size shown in the quest thumbnail below:

If you previously earned the Manor Room from the "Panther Woman" quest... you will have the "skin" and the extension, which is an additional triple window group followed by a triple wall panel group, then a single window finished with another corner and single wall panel (feel free to add a picture ^.^).  The extended white & gold "skin" just adds length to the wood floored area on the right side of the loft.

Hope that clears it up... maybe hypn

I believe the "no button" part of this "bug" has been solved but the problem with the different versions of walls for the room vs avatar is still an issue.
