ARTISTS WANTED!

Every year I work on film/media project. This year I really want to make a music video, but with an artistic twist. I haven't decided on a song, but the concept is there. I want to make it a stop go animation but using 2D drawings...this is where the artists come in.

I need/want your drawings (lifelike/cartoon/anime style) cartoons of characters. Male and female or even a talking dog. It doesn't need to be coloured it, just black and white sketches is perfect.

This is an example of what I'm looking for. Torso upwards, profile sketch. If its in pencil then you can just rub out the mouth and do the different movements, to mimic them singing. If you can't draw anime style then just a sketch of a profile doing a similar thing will work just as well. Just using an anime as an example.

I really want to do this guys, but my drawing schools haven't progressed since primary school so I cannot do it and I do not have the time to work with life actors. I just completed another music video with real life and that took many months and I want to try something else.

If you help me, you will be credited. My other project from before fell through drastically and so I really want to make this one work. If you post your sketches below than I can start to work on it.

When are they due, pica? I've actually been working on something similar for a while now so I might be able to help. And would you prefer them by email or just here?

Quick Example:

First without eyebrows or mouth for flexibility

That is perfect! Wow The idea is that its the same image but the mouth and eyebrows are different to mimic singing. Which I can then layer up in production as a stop so animation. That is perfect If you just post them here, it will be easier for everybody.

I have chosen the song and its quite a sad song, but really nice female vocals. The band are also polish so you can't been influenced by the popularity. If you can make some of the drawings cry that would be amazing ^_^

Also some action like sad poses, like sitting alone looking sad. Looking out of a window in longing etc. I really need as much help as possible with this ^_^

So do you need some of them to be scenes and not torso up? It's okay. I just wanna know so I can draw them correctly :D

Also when is this due? I'm gonna draw as many of them today, but I might be able to add more throughout the week?

I'd like to be in it if it isn't too time-constraining.
Latest example of a headshot:

This one's painted and took like 4-5 hours, but simple head sketch would take a minute or two tops so I don't think time'll be much of a problem if you'll have me uwu

but yeah, if there're multiple artists, would that mean the drawings are in sections+different characters?

Omg darky they are perfect. They don't have to be from torso up - it was just for the singing purposes :) If its action legs included would be cool, but what you've done there is perfect ^_^

Would it be possible to have one of her sitting on the floor in a helpless position alone in a room or something. If not jsut interpret the lyrics as you wish ^_^ they are perfecto ^_^

@emorocker - yes it would be different characters :) If you want to help out, it shouldn't take too much of your time. Would it be possible for you to draw scary gory ghosts or some sort of ghouly things haunting her mind. Use your imagination ^_^
