I didn't bother looking up at the others, laying down a group of Ace, Two, and Three of Diamonds. I then looked up at the dealer expectantly.

"No idea how to play though." I say lightly, blinking at the cards that were laid down.

I sat down next to the dude and muttered under my breath, "You're the one who first spoke."

"It's simple really. You have a hand of seven cards. You have to try and make a meld which is a set of consecutive cards with the same shape, or a set of 3 or more cards with the same number. After finding the meld you put it down in front of you. Sevens can stand alone in Seven Bridges, but you have to let us know verbally that you're putting down a single Seven. If you don't have a meld, you take a card from the draw pile and discard a card from your hand in the discard pile. You can also join other people's melds that are laid out on the table. You're turn ends after you put down a meld and discard a card."

"If a person doesn't have any cards left, they win. Then score based on how many points the rest of the players have. Which we'll get to after we're done so that I can show you. It's your turn."
