[Fashion Show] New Theme: Venice Carnival
Venice is often described as the city of love, but for me who lives there I know better than anyone that apart from the obvious romance that exudes the city, she is best known for hosting one of the most spectacular carnivals in flamboyant costumes ! Besides, I am one of the people who decide each year during the period of carnival costume walking in the city! This year I put a little money aside to renew my disguise begins to suffer a little, it's been 5 years that I wear the same ... And I am determined to line their eyes to the contest judges carnival mask with my handmade by Venetian tradition! Wish me luck!

To register for this show you will need to meet the following requirements:
- 1 item from the Basics store 
Required:
- Presence of a face mask
- Your Doll ONLY!
Prohibited:
- Clothing & fantasy elements
- Elements and around the feet of the Dollz
- Pets
- The readymade outfits
- The gifts for friends and those of the Gazette
* WARNING: will be considered ready-made outfits outfits with a dress or non-accessorised

so does this mean we can not use a dress of any kind or does it have to be a dress that we accessorize?

Also would we be allowed to have a doll as our doll? (Using a doll as a different skin)

Yes, you may wear a dress. It would be nice to accessorize it yourself rather then wear a premade one.

I can see how this is mask-like. It's Categorized under Fashion Accessory > Make-up/Body, though.
Compare it to this 
, which is under Accessories > Other. It might be hard to see, but there are eye holes.
Both are from the Lovely shop.

Ditto.
Wings are expressly forbidden in the French Forum theme... but I know things sometimes get "lost in translation". Even without the inclusion of the word "wings" in our post, they have always been considered a "fantasy element"... and are labeled as such in "My Things".
I have also seen the occasional magical, glowing crystal staff... for lack of a better word. Not a royal scepter... a clearly magical, scythe-like fantasy weapon.
I have not voted for anyone wearing wings, even though some of the outfits are nice... it is simply not fair to those who follow the guidelines. There are quite a few completely off-theme entries!
