you guys can. I have school starting here in 6 days so I won't have any time.
44
Yeah. Lucky Bloody! I'm bored without school.
45
Same here. I can't wait. I kinda miss it.
46
True I miss it but then I realize homework. & Then I realize its better than being bored.
47
I've never really had homework since I finish it before I get home lolz.
48
OMG Bloody! You are AMAZING! Your able to finish work that fast?? Lucky! Well here we don't have a choice but to take it all home. The teacher would give us at least 3-4 pages of home-work and make us listen to boring stuff.
Is school fun in USA?
49
Depends on the teachers, classmates, class, and school. Some are and some aren't. What about there in Sri-Lanka?

Strict, Dull and Boring. We have to wear uniforms and if we don't in a correct way then straight to the principal's office. They check your bags every day. The walls are made out of wood and its not even painted properly. The teachers, I cant understand anything they say.
51. It's the same in Singapore, well, at least, it's supposed to be (about the uniform, but we don't get sent to the Principal's office, she's too busy XD) The teachers have been becoming less strict over the years though... The rest though, I guess we're different. Why do they check your bags?
52.
This would be the only time I'm glad I'm homeschooled.
53
Only some schools check bags and those are the ones in gang-related areas. So they have metal detectors also. Some, especially the Catholic and Private schools, have uniforms. Mine doesn't but it's also public, so... yeah. My school though has a cop that patrols the halls all day.

My mom said it was the same in Pakistan. She had groups in her school named after famous people, and she was the head of her's. She said that she was in charge of checking everyone's bags and clothes. Is it the same for you Malu?
i'm glad we dont have to do that here. We live in a decent area so we dont have to do checks.

It actually an old English school. There are no groups. The principal chooses the best "trust-able" students to check the bags to see if we have anything "illegal" or correction fluid. Cause we aren't allowed to bring correction fluid or certain types of stationary like markers and highlighters etc.
We don't have a cop but just maid in every floor. We aren't allowed to leave class so if we need anything we have to call them. We have to stay bored all day stuck in that class. The teachers come to our class to teach so we don't get to move around. Plus to make it worse we have only 15 mins for lunch and the canteen sucks.
But its an Cambridge International school.

If my school was like that, 90% of the students would die. By why are correction liquids and highlighters and whatnot prohibited? Their like... a must have study item for us here... And what about if you needed the toilet? 15 mins for lunch?! It takes us 15 minutes to just BUY our lunch, because the queue is that bad...

In our school the queue is really bad. There isn't even a queue! They push, hit, punch etc each other to get lunch. That's why I always bring lunch from home.
They let you go to the bathroom after you ask permission.Did I mention that you have to ask permission to DRINK WATER in class??
I have no idea why the stationary aren't allowed. It is important but if you use even one then they will LITERALLY tear the page off.Once I used a highlighter and my class teacher tore the page like it was nothing.
We also have to put a cover for each one of our books and it has to be brown. If we put another color then they will tear it off too. -.-

Oh. My. God. How do you survive that? I can't do it. If a teacher was to do that stuff here, they'd get sued and/ or fired. Markers, highlighters, etc. are a must and only 15 minutes for lunch?!?!?! I get 25 minutes but all my other schools gave us 40 minutes minimum. No colorful book covers? How can they stand looking at brown everyday. This us just unbelievable that a school of all places does that. I think our prisons treat our prisoners better than they do at your school. I feel sorry for you Malu.
5. ^ That. Are all the school's in your country like that, Malu? No one ever complained?

I think public schools are better but I've never gone to one. It's normal here. And I think most students are afraid of complaining. I complain to my mom but she wont do anything. I don't think she's listening half of the time.
And in India its worse. In India some schools in the teachers use canes and sticks to "discipline" the students. Discipline meaning abuse. I'm glad at least here in Sri-lanka they don't. But other than that this place is hell.
I fell sorry for me too. Maldives was waay better.
