I'm 99 3/4% sure this room used to have music, like the Forest room. And it no longer has it.
Did it use to have music? I really don't think it did
I finished the quest with my alt doll when it appeared for the first time and I had it set as my main room for a long time. I would have not done that if it had the background music, because I actually hate when the browser just randomly blasts music for no good reason, lol.
Maybe you had a "musical" item put in the room that was playing music for you? I don't know, I'm just guessing here.
I remember when i first got that room how, when i first looked in that room the western sounding music made me kinda giggle hearing it.
I vaguely recall, and this was a long long time ago when I first got the Western room, this twangy old fashion cowboy music. And yes, it made me giggle as well. I could be getting it mixed up with something else, but even the Bank doesn't have cowboy style music.
And...I found this!

Scroll down to what Laurabow says: "Not a quest for me, but I noticed this room comes with music, which is a nice bonus". Ribbonheart mentions the music, as well. So, yeah, it's confirmed, the Western Room once had music. I'm not sure when they took it away, however, because I haven't noticed it in my own for a long while.
Wow, that's interesting, I have no recollection of that music! But if so many players say it's true then it must be. I wonder when and why was it taken away.
Maybe the music has something to do with Flash. Or too many people complained about it. I liked it, classic spaghetti western music.
Thanks lady0filia for finding that and helping to prove I'm not losing my mind ;)
