Classic Storybook Characters Contest

Historygeek's First Contest
As I love to read classic literature, I was wondering what our dolls would look like if they were from the books I like to read. And then I thought, what would happen if they traveled into the future, particpated in a horror movie, or just celebrated Christmas?

Choose one of the characters from one of the classic works of literature listed below.

Dress your doll to depict your chosen character by September 7, 2012 (6 pm EST).

1) Select one of the characters and decide in which category you will dress your doll.
2) Please post in this thread when your doll is ready, your character and category choice, and in which room your doll is located.
3) Winners will be selected by September 10 with prizes including votes and gifts of your choice.

I'll join!
Juliet and Jane Eyre will be the easiest. So I'm going to try Christine from Phantom of the Opera.
I love classic too! My favorite is Little women and a little princess. I watched the dracula movie but the book is a bit confusing.

I believe what she meant by faithful adaptation is, dress up how you think the character looks as described in the book..

I would like to do Elizabeth Bennett under the category Horror Inspired please. I'll let you know what alt I'm using and when she'll be done.

Further explanation (although cocobelle got it right when she answered the queston)
Faithful Adaptation - as the author described the character - so faithful to the time period, country, etc.
Science Fiction/The Future - dress your doll as if she is 100 or 1000 years from now but is still that character in the story
Horror Inspired - what would happen if that story was filled with zombies, vampires, werewolves, pirates, etc
Christmas - how would she dress for a Christmas party

I'll start putting people into categories by doll & design idea on Wednesday. Thanks for participating!

People can enter as many as two dolls (just identify them clearly for me in this thread) and there can be more than one for each character and category.

P.S ~ I will be using my alts for this contest.
For Christine from Phantom of the Opera I will be using my alt Love-of-beauty-queen.
But For Juliet From Romeo and Juliet I will be using my main malu.
I will post both the outfits together when they are done.

May I ask when the due date is? :)

I am unable to post screenshot for this contest but my doll Fakeemo101 is ready as Ophelia with faithful adaptation and Jorjor is ready as Elizabeth Bennet with Horror Inspired.

Thank you everyone. I'm just waiting for angelfire to let me know which room her doll is in with her Anne of Green Gables look.

I designed one myself - Christine from Phantom - Horror inspired on my Historygeek4 doll (Hell room). I'll post a picutre later.

I'll post winners by Monday but I have to say - I like all the doll designs!
