I called Eva who seemed to be outside.
"Mom, hi."
"Hey sweety. Your daddy and I need to talk to you about something important and need you to come over as soon as possible."
"Oh... ok. Can you please hold on a second?" I heard talking to someone called Jake and letting him know she has to leave for a family emergency.
"Ok, mom. I'll be right over."
"Take care, sweetie."
"You too, mom."

I then called Aury who seemed a bit disappointed about having to leave his invention but obliged.

"They're on their way."

Aury:
I ran my fingers through my hair and told Caton, "I have to leave ... Hey... Are you ...hmmm... What are you?" I was trying to find out if he's a downworlder or not.

I was solemn when we entered her hospital room to find her and Danny both curled up next to each on the tiny hospital bed asleep. "Um...Val...what do I do here when I find my daughter in bed with a boy?" I felt my face getting hotter and I was trying to not lose control.
