I started reading the Bane Chronicles as well. It's just a collection of short novels about Magnus and his interesting daily immortal mage life. I just started but it's supposed to explain how the Dumort ended up so badly ... or about his struggles buying Alec his birthday present XD

The City of Heavenly Fire is the last book of Mortal Instruments
The books Angel and Bloody were talking about are part of the Divergent series. It didn't really impress me so far but I still have one more book to go
And the last one Bloody mentioned is the sequel to Mortal Instruments with Emma as main character. Love that girl.

Bloody difficult. It's an MMORPG. It's based highly on decision making. You have to save the kingdom from demons. But there a whole backstory to it
