I smiled a little and said, "You're pregnant...Not going to happen. Besides...On that day, i'll be sick."
Lily:
"The bet that if I didn't drink for a day, Val would have to come with me out clubbing." I said, "And vampires don't get sick."
Val:
"...I'm a hybrid...I get sick...Just ask Matt."
Leo:
I whistled. "What a bet, Val. Lily won?"
Lily:
I nodded, "Sure did."
Val:
I sighed and said, "...Do I have to drink? I can dance or sing, but...drink?...It's against everything I believe in."
Lily:
"That's the best part though!" I said smirking, "At least try some wine or something woman!"
Val:
I sighed...It really hurt even thinking of coming close to that...that...evil drink...How could I get down to the same level at 'dad'?!!! "...Do I have to?...Maybe just taste it...Just a taste...Nothing more than one sip!"
Lily:
"I'll accept that... Don't know about Leo.. But I'll accept it."
Val:
"THANK YOU!...Any idea why Kane left so suddenly? We were talking normally and suddenly his face fell and eh teleported away."
Lily:
I shrugged, "That's just Kane.. He'll probably pop back up here sooner or later."
Val:
"...He's a really nice guy, by the way."
Lily:
"Kane? Ya he is... Him and Dante are like brothers.
Val:
"Really?...He did hang around during your honeymoon from what I've heard," I said smiling a little.

I nodded, "He did that, and also came to the ultrasound..."
Val:
"Awww...He's excited to have a nephew? How's Dante by the way? I didn't hang much around him, but he seems nice."
Lily:
"He's good... Just left to go for a jog... He's excited for the baby though..." I bit my tongue and tried not to blush.
Val:
I smiled a little, "I am so happy you and Dante me, Lily...Your baby is going to have an amazing family." I paused for a while, then said, "You know...Fifty years ago, if anyone had asked me if I wanted a family or not, I would have said 'no'...Look at us now..."
Lily:
I nodded, "Tell me about it... If I knew about this back at the cabin I probably would have laughed and thought it was never possible."
Val:
Chuckling, I said, "When we were back in the cabin you never EVER talked to me."
Lily:
I shrugged, "I never really talked to anyone outside of the pack.. To busy making sure they didn't kill each other."
Val:
"I never expected life of the pack to be so...messy! I assumed that only vampire clans had so much drama. When I joined the French clan, they said they were proud to be the only clan in which no vampire killed the other in over sixty years."
Lily:
"Well Rose always got the newbies, so every full moon it seemed like there was always one person going crazy." I raised a eyebrow, "A vampire clan without drama? That's a first."
Val:
'Yeah...I was actually really surprised when they helped me out and took me in after the massacre."
Lily:
"Massacre?" I asked.
