Stefanie:
I got back to the car to find Meg and Lola trying to sneak a peek at what Lily was scribbling. I gave them a look so they would start minding their own business and respect her privacy and asked, "Would you like to drink or eat something before we head to the jewelry store, Lily?"

Stefanie:
Meg and Lola raised their eyebrows at the question and I replied with a small smile, "We're absolutely fine, Lily."
She really was a nice person, huh?...Who thought that Sir Dante have a good taste after all?

Stefanie:

The chaueffeur drove us to one of the best jewelry stores in Japan. As I got out of the car with her, I said, "Sir Dante said that you should buy anything you like. So, please, don't hesitate to point out things you like. It's our duty to make you satisfied."

Meg sent us mentally, She's really the first one to ever ask if we need anything...She's not from the ... celebrity class, is she?
I snapped back, She is now! And you should respect her.
She sent back quickly, I respect her! I like her already. We're luck that Mrs. Marsh is so nice.

Stefanie:

I smiled and said politely, "Yes, we will, Lily...We're to escort you and keep you company. Sir Dante would of course have to welcome your guests, so we are to make sure that everything you need will be available to you."

Lola added mentally, And to protect her as well.
That we will,I sent back.

Stefanie:

Meg and Lola exchanged looks and I said with a small laugh, "That would really be not necessary, Lily. We will be there. We're honored of course to have you think of us as friends, but we're...we're your assistants."

( Well...It's not a bad thing. Dante himself isn't exactly following traditions per se.)

"Ah yes...It's one of Sir Dante's favorite cities..."

One of the shop assistants bowed to us and gave me a box. I revealed the necklace to her and asked, "Would you like these, Lily?"

( The purple necklace. My jaw dropped when I saw it! I really want it!!! I have one similar to the red, but in light blue...Of course, it's not diamond, though :p I bought it for like $20)

"I would say so...The necklace definitely is unique. I am sure it would go well with any purple outfit you'd like to wear."

Stefanie:

Lola and Meg went to pay for the jewelry and I replied, "Well...Traditionally wise, I would say feel free to talk to the wives of any of the businessmen as well as any businesswomen...Talking to businessmen is considered to be a weird thing for a wife of a business tycoon...mainly because most of those men, not all of them, of course, are flirty and well...dishonest...Besides some might want to use you to get closer to Sir Dante."

Stefanie:
I nodded with a chuckle, "It is...Especially when most of the business associates are downworlders. The sad thing is, most of them wear masks...They smile at one another, but more often than not, they mean to hurt others."

Stefanie:

"Well...Would you like to check out shoes? or maybe just some place for casual clothes? Sir Dante has told us that you might like to purchase some new things in general and not just for the ball."

Stefanie:

Meg smiled a little and said, "You're not so big."
I shot her a look...She should talk with more respect. So she apologized saying, "Excuse my interruption..."
I smiled a little, "I can assure you that we would be able to find clothes that would be suitable for pregnancy without being too big. We're here to make sure everything is just to your liking." We walked outside and I opened the door of the car for her.
