Xenakis:

I followed after Lauran. "Tsk, tsk. Shouldn't have taken a drink."

I couldn't stay still so I got out and found Xenakis with the newbie. "Oh good you found her. Sorry about the drinks."

"Needed some fresh air?" I asked as I looked around, suddenly on edge when I stepped outside.

"That's pretty normal. Wait till you see flying people. That's when it gets interesting."

Lauren:
"Flying?...Oh boy!" I brought my hand to my head and added, "...I might have something against flying...I love the solid ground...oh and the pool!" I said pointing at the pool...I was seriously thinking of taking a dive...with the dress on...

Oh, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!!
I'd managed to injure one of the birds, but the two others were closing in way too fast. The double-bladed staff I had was good, but not good enough especially after whatever I drank at Amary's house.
They were slowly making me retreat towards the house.

I run up a tree trunk and force myself to leap at one of the oncoming birds, it's beak manages to scratch my arm as I drive my staff into it's side. The blade slides out like it's slicing a piece of soft butter and I find myself falling to the ground.
I manage to get sort-of upright so that I could start running immediately as I hit the ground.

I immediately went into overdrive mode. "Lauren, get behind me. Do NOT go anywhere. Just stay where you are and you'll be fine." I summoned my Thyrsus from my backpack which floated to my hand, growing into a deadly poison-tipped spear-like object.
"I' take the front, Xena you take the back." I lunged at the bird's throat and my Thyrsus went into it as it cried out. I managed to quickly deflect one of it's attacks at my head and jabbed it straight through the neck this time, instantly vaporizing it into dust.

"Holy flippin' Zeus. This is bad." I whispered as more of them came at us. Thankfully more of the demigods that were at the party had come out to see what all the commotion was about and were now sort of ready to fight.
I looked at the ground and willed it to erupt in poison grapes and vines, wrapping itself around two of them, suffocating them to death.

I was dodging bullet and trying to shield Lauren when the fanged guy came up behind us.
"Not tonight, loser." I muttered as I dove into his mind and made him forget what he was and his purpose in harming Lauren, making him think he was a stoner kid who can't stop crying about his dog.

"I hope whatever you spiked the drink with doesn't make our own side go against us unknowingly." I say.
I pour some of my energy into the double-bladed scythe-staff, I take a running start, leap at the nearest pair of birds and take them both down in a mid-air spin. Their necks are impaled by my blades and when I release the energy in the scythe, they turn into a pair of dust-piles.

"...Are you going to kill me?!" I asked narrowing my eyes at the spear.

"I'm trying to keep you from getting harmed till we get to camp. Now, the guy that I just drove into madness, I need you to drown him. Because the effect will wear off in about five minutes so I need you to do it quickly. Like, now!"
